Just got Baenwurath down to 5661/75000. This would be much easier with an M-Staff and O-Staff. :(

I know 'never more godlies' is the line, but man, if they went out in very limited batches of say, 5, maybe spread out over the day, once a year, in the Crystal Shop (& max one per person) I wouldn't be heartbroken. They're just so much better than the alternatives, which, against a challenger like Baenwurath, is exactly what you need. Let me sulk.

Also why I fail to be convinced in the worth of defensive weapons that we're seeing. Good luck trying to turtle behind the vast array of icons you're getting thrown at you, while depleting 75000 health. I like things like the Unstable Sample Syringe and Tempestuous Bladed Gauntlet more - it'd be nice to see the defence bumped up to say, 60 a piece, and maybe upgraded to a tier 11 weapon with a little more offense. They'd become a more viable option when trying to defend against a spread of icons - one where you aren't going to turn to your standard 100 blockers.

sigh it's beyond words really. I almost wish galleries just weren't a thing and not just because mine has cost me an arm and a leg and is still sitting in my vault XD. Luckily, I think that pretty soon hoarding achieves will be retired and then maybe some stuff will come out on the market.

What are you using against Baenwurath? I got 4 wins on it without M-Staff or O-Staff or even Natasha/K-Wand/Wrath of K, so perhaps we could work things out

Considering Aboxalypse's lowest possible EXP payout is 5, 14 EXP would be one heck of a sad day of BQs.

I was using Trident and ME as I couldn't find/was too lazy to find a guide with its weapons and they're pretty decent overall (Trident with its catch-all blessing). Seemed to sink a lot of light past me, though. Think Cronus might be better than ME but only tried a couple of times and then felt like whinging. :P I reaaaally want an O-Staff hah. I've always considered it the best weapon on site (maybe alongside Trident due to its versatility and the blessing).

I like to use cronus blade as much as I can before the castle starts to boost up its stats a lot. My main weapon combo for wins 1-4 was OHS+PoBow. The main trick is to get as much damage in as possible while the castle is still weak and try to survive its later onslaught of attacks. I can also say that if you do not have both P-Quill and RotL still in your set by the time you get it down below 20K health, you are probably not going to win this fight. ME is great to pair with sancts or spacial abyss scrolls though (most namely late in the fight).

Yeah I thought the same; at the beginning it's getting a lot of light and physical past me but my heal sustained me. Thanks to the boosting, it really starts to become a slog towards the end. I use RoE for maximum damage but that became more dangerous towards the end. Hm. Might have to drop Trident as the blessing overlaps with Cronus, which feels redundant, and only my MW and Trident are modded with parched.

When I tried PoBow against Baenwurath before, I felt it really highlighted a situation where Natasha would be stronger; if I could freeze, it would help me in a pinch, but without that, plus the lower attack and heal, showed its weakness in a longer, freezeless fight.

PoBow should be able to get you at least one win, although I will admit that Natasha should be better (that castle is the main reason why I bought Natasha).
