No. No it wouldn't. Considering we don't know when (if) the shrieks are ever coming back and no one seems keen to add more tiers+smashers to the GE achievement, this could be a very good way to actually get some of the harder-to-obtain scrolls back into circulation.

I'm sure there's a very small minority of people who have "extra" scrolls just for their secondary battlers. (Talking about the high priced scrolls here, not Cobalts or other easily made/bought/acquired scrolls. I know tons of people have various levels of healing scrolls that would be kind of useless with the advent of a scroll library, but that's the only effect I can see.) So I don't think it's an issue of changing anything at all about the high demand scrolls, other than ease of use.

I wanted to know what is the best battle weapon of the items below for a tier 8 pet? luma centari, spectre, prehistoria, destruction, erosion and corrosion, grand talon, Kumidaiko or kuikorosu

There's a subforum for set advice, and the battle group is mostly for updates/news/important things, you should ping battlechat for chatty stuff :)

I don't know what the first one is... but all of those weapons are genetech combos of legendaries. They all deal the same amount of damage and block the same amounts, their only difference is what icons they deal and block. So which is best depends on what opponent you're fighting. There are much better weapons than the combos though, especially for a tier 8 pet.

I like the idea has. And that was actually what i had in mind when they said scroll library.

Basically, its you have your library (all scrolls, like in your weapons armory). then you drag/click them into a box, then save the scroll set as "Scroll set 1" or "no freeze/steal set" or no heal set. (i kinda hoped that we'd be able to have weapon sets as well like that).

I personally think that this would work better, since you wont be using the same set everytime depending on restrictions ie no freeze or whatnot.

but i do like 's mockup. A+ for effort :) but yours is more for organizational streamlining which is fine too. If we do go your route though, I think that your library should show your full/available scrolls. Just because El has a Smasher doesnt mean Hanji cant have access to it in a set.

Yes, if you try enter the battle without enough AP for the scrolls, or if the scrolls in the profile no longer exist in the library, you would encounter a error like assigning weapons too high a tier to a pet.

You can have a default global scroll profile. Or maybe one default profile for each pet.

The goal is to make it easier for multiple pets to use some shared scrolls. It helps during BQs as well if you switch between pets for high, mid, and lower tier challengers.

Yup, you got it. If there are defaults set, you don't have to always choose a scroll profile every time. You can name profiles like: Dark and fire blockers, TA and Freezers, Boss fight etc.

There's a bit of additional complexity on the coding side when you add and remove items in the library when there are profiles. As long as you have things valid, then there won't be error messages.

Otherwise, if there aren't profiles, to switch scrolls between pets you'll have to remove remove remove add add add. It gets tedious sometimes, like during BQs with random challengers.

This also applies for weapons if they follow the same thing between pets.

I am excited too ! Although this makes CSC much harder for me due to CW funds. Who knows ! If they go the Titan route, there will be 12. If they go elements there could be any odd number. I don't think there is a list that has magma as an official "element" off-site. So they can go mixing and matching different elemental things such as magma, wood, ice, Aether, etc, etc, to fit Subeta. On Subeta there are NINE possible elements: Magma, fire, water, air/wind, physical, earth, ice, light, and dark. But through the Mage amulets we are missing air/wind, ice, and physical, but with the addition of "Rainbow" and "Death" Which all gives me zero idea how many we will officially have, AHAHAHAHA

Oh, which elements are you basing the 8 off ? I can only find a few non-Subeta based ones aside from the basic fire/water/Earth/air (with the addition of Spirit/Heaven/Aether); and a few that omit air but had wood or metal added, or some other similar list... But none going more than 5.

Ah I was just going off the elements we have right now on site based off the mage amulets. I guess it's silly, there ARE tons of others to choose from that can be based off different things. Like you mentioned Metal and such.

Oooh ! I would find it a little odd if they did them off of the amulets, since we're missing a few of the official battle elements (like you, I am hoping they release some new amulets/tomes !). But really, they can go anywhere with it. I am just excited to see what is to come !

Question: I just finished beating two challengers 25 times and got errors each time and when I refreshed it said 26 wins. Was there suppose to be another challenger on the 25th win? It was for Fuyaira and Eventide Phoenix
