I am now so pleased about my past self's decision to train speed really high. The extra critting had always been fun but knowing I don't need to tank it up now is a relief.

I'm definitely not looking forward to him :P I think he broke me when I was trying for both Smashers. I started off my first re-battles with Prodigy to get another Void :D Will hopefully make the freezable opponents slightly less irritating this time around.

In response to people a page back - the Mage is being really awful to me today as well.

I'm battling everyone 5 times first, then I'll get the last 5 later tonight. All of that delicious EXP, a chance to replace Elfric's old wins/losses record...Christmas came early this year. o

edit: and if we could get the Mage as a challenger, that would be icing on the cake. I'll hold him, and you guys steal his tomes, k?

I'm saving my EXP in the miniscule chance the EXP rate gets lowered. I'm not a huge fan of how high it is right now since it basically pushes people to boost their stats rather than battle for them :/

That, and the training center's issue with pets being over 5k levels. Guess it's time for previously-capped pets to attend a super secret super awesome training facility. Ohwait, wrong site. :P

Actually, the EXP cost isn't so bad. I mean... I netted 20k just from doing half my BQs. Multiply that by a few years (I doubt we'll see another raise soon) and it's actually reasonable.

I suppose so, but if you want to get there in under like 3 years it's a bit harsh haha.

I'm enjoying getting second copies of weapons that I can now shove into my wardrobe :D

Man I missed the start of all the fun... I was waiting for the news post when our power went out for our block... didn't get power back for like 3 hours and then our net/phone/cable was out till this morning. Well time to get caught up. Enjoy the changes everyone, hoping to get closer to the old cap by the time my main battler is done plowing through these challengers again.

lol, I never knew, there were pets with level beyond 5k! At 3k XP I am glad I have some spare ones to still train strength and defence (and speed?). I am not at all happy having to spend 4,5 k on health. The longer I think about it the more stupid it seems. That's like not being able to grow our pets any longer at all.

Ah, I forgot, we have boosters in the cash shop now. Yeah, sure, Subeta, you stole something like $25 from me and now as a reward and thank you I am going to start buying stats from you with more cash, certainly... not!

Actually, now with finally being given the long awaited cap raise, after all the downs and hits we have been through and stuck here in spite of it all, I guess it's time to pretty much quit, if I can no longer grow my pets at a reasonable speed. Especially since growth of strength and defence doesn't matter much after a certain stage. (But maybe this is one of the changes still awaiting us in the promised goody bag?) One training session/per day and 1 or 2 stats for one or 2 pets from BQs is not getting anybody anywhere. I mean, you have been encouraging, with the cap forcing us to train multiple pets, right?! Fighting the challengers only gives that much, because another reset is not going to happen too fast and 15 points (I know, this was said to still get altered) per fight after the tenth is not adding up to (a single!)4500 easily.

This morning it didn't look so gloomy - probably I wasn't quite awake then, but now it feels very bad...

Hmm, so far I turned in 16 amulets today and got 2 tomes. Could be better, but still ok.

I used my very small booster hoard, went from this: Level: 1659 Health: 6430 / 6430 Strength: 4129 Defense: 3368 Speed: 3156 Intelligence: 1538

To this: Level: 1725 Health: 6510 / 6510 Strength: 4241 Defense: 3466 Speed: 3242 Intelligence: 1602

Which means I now have enough intelligence to get promoted at the SAI. Waiting to see how this speed thing turns out before I use up my exp.

I guess im coming out of mine, so guess its good for all us battlers xD

Interested on the way speeds going to change healing. As theirs loads of variables to consider. Depending how its implemented

Seeing all this talk about speed and healing... think I'll not leech like I was planning to. I guess I could go as high as 4k speed we'll see how things go. For now I'm off to battle, slowly.
