Claire didn't even have trouble staying alive there. It did get slow later on though, since those tsunamis used with lava flows made me barely be able to do damage. I think I can get 5 wins with her. I did use rapier of error a bit in the early stages of the battle, which did help me rack up damage.

Hmm for Vesnali I would love to see those Sylphs come back so we can beat them up, even if the loot changes, it would be fun to battle them again for something to do. :P

Congrats on your wins against the island. From what I've seen, I'm not sure if Tidal Wave can even go that high. Tsunami could though (I've seen all sorts of numbers from 44 to 99 water).

I can't beat this guy yet - I don't have the correct weapons. But I must say that I really like the concept of this challenger. It feels like there is a story behind the challengers. The elementals fused into an island, and slowly the island is awakening. It becomes a race with the clock to get out alive, since the power of nature keeps growing stronger.

Yeah -- I got hit w/ Tsunami a few times for 80+ water -- a huge ouch when he's got 2 of 'em and you're looking at 150+ water… A wonder I didn't drown!

I have only gotten one battle in. I need to try for the other 4...I might have to find someone though to borrow...I don't know if my weapons will be able to do 5 wins. but I will give it my all.

You'll want to block Earth/Magma/Water (specially water near the end of the battle) And hope your blessings stay up the entire time as well. Good luck I know you can do it!

Thanks! I had to borrow weapons to get my few wins and it was SO MUCH EASIER with the right toys. The only downside is that apparently they need to be returned at some point. :(

LOL, yes -- it's not so easy to stand strong against those blows with HP under 4 K, is it? :D

It would be nice to have the sylphs come back, Vesnali last year was a super busy time for me, between changing jobs and travelling across the country, I didn't get a chance to really beat any of them. It's nice to be able to beat them in BQs though.
