Does the Hustler, not the opponent, still give out the 3 weapons(I can't think of what they are right now)? Is the chance lowered more with the new items he now gives out?

I've been wondering this same thing :/. The three items are dark staff of chaos, light sword of justice and amulet of neutrality, iirc.

My goal for today is to get in some more wins with Cause whose gained 65 stat points towards T6 in the past 48 hours, thanks to BQs mostly. He's now 123 stats away.

I'm also going to try to get a few battles with Ballistic, my newly adopted T3. He hasn't got any wins against any opponent so I can get me some more egg boosters... Yay! I plan on throwing the ones I get at him anyway since I'd like him to be closer in stats to his story-world friend Classified.

Gonna be sticking to just the opponents they are over-trained for though. Today is busy and I got some bad news about a family member last night. So... No undue stress. Just easy, fun battles.

When training more than one pet, how do you read to them. I had stopped training on all but the two top and now I realize I haven't been reading to all of them, so they are low in the ap areas.

I've got my 10 battle babies that I am training arranged at the top of my pet order and then I've got my they're-trained-but-I'm-not-actively-training pets kinda prioritized by stats after that. When I get a book, I check to see who hasn't read it yet. If it's fairly cheap and my three biggest and baddest battlers have read it, I will read it to whoever strikes my fancy that day. Lately I've been trying to get all my battle babies scroll ready so I'm kinda just reading books to my pets in the pre-determined order.

that is what I had been doing but now am wondering if I get all the books from the special shops to read to all of them or just get them to read to my top two pets. I don't know why I feel so guilty!

Vaako always gets priority and Sishean is usually a high priority as well. Even if I don't read the books to them right away I try to buy two sets of books from the event shops for them. Very rarely I'll read them to another pet first and it's usually only because I have a particular AP goal in mind. Like with my pet Kink... I want him to be able to equip Champion and Morosbane so I put him ahead of some of my other pets and bought him full sets from the Zombie Den and Louis's Shop. Once he's got enough AP, I'll probably be working on Ballistic in a similar fashion. (I'll probably even buy him the set of books from the Zombie Den if I can. I'm candy heart poor so he will not be getting the books from Louis though, thank you very much. LOL)

In my little pack, my special book priority list is currently Vaako, Sishean, Dominant, Kink, (the newly included) Ballistic, Classified, and Cause... I can't imagine having the funds/tokens for anybody after that.
