I have to 'fess up. While I sometimes am annoyed by GE -- either because he doesn't drop imp tokens, or sometimes just because I really don't like him -- I am sometimes relieved to see him. When I've had to restart the Bastard Blue Bunny a few times to get a win and I've had to battle him 3 times in a row and it's been well over an hour on just him and I can feel my blood pressure rise… Well, GE actually looks pretty good in those moments. I dk why he's in the imp range, but I guess I just figured it was so it'd be harder to get the goods. Fewer imp battles means fewer imp tokens.

typically i'd agree with you on whatever is quicker/easier to get BQs done for the day, but right now i'm super close to being able to afford my mecha and every imp token counts... so having an out of place EH challenger show up five times in a row when i'm supposed to be fighting imps isn't exactly welcome in my book

are skips legit like, a challenger refresh? i always assumed it was "i want to skip round 26 and go to round 27" so i've never used any of them.

its a "refresh" but lol the chances of GE showing up again, or even twice is relatively high.

that's actually good to know, i'd been forgoing that function for fear of losing a round's worth of exp or something like that. but yeah, considering my luck with running into GE tonight, i'm somehow skeptical that the skips would have helped me that much.

yeah, i tried to use them to skip up to the last quests faster, and found out it wasnt the case :( :( but they are useful for getting rid of GE - at least a few times, anyways

well now that i know what the skip function actually does, maybe i'll get a bit luckier :P and i'm only 13 away right now. i'd count on getting it within the next week or so, but i'm coming up on a week's worth of field work, and i've got no idea whether or not i'll have the chance to do BQs for a solid week, hence my impatience with GE tonight

Not sure where your fieldwork is, but I hope you can find the time and means to get those BQs in so you can get your mecha. Funny how RL always interrupts when we're on the verge of greatness!
