Be cool if you could mod your minion and have it help in battle in small ways. They could all start with a mod slot and as you battle/train/whatever needed activity them you get more slots until an eventual max number. Again max number would be same for all minions. It would be a chance to use those pretty mods that were drawn but never released. Just something small to give minions more utility without pushing the battle system out of balance.

Neo did have something like that but simpler though. For that matter so did plenty of other pet sites I would think...

That said, I wouldn't mind if they did something unrelated to battle with them. I have seven pages of pretty minions in my gallery that I almost never look at. An activity made for them would be nice.

personally I would use it all on health. or at least the majority and maybe round up your strength and defense up a bit, but I would do all health.

Recycled Shield (Tier 6) w/o combo Defense: 3-7 Fire, 0-5 Water, 0 or 3 or 6 Wind, 5-8 Ice, 6 Magma, 1 or 3 Earth, 0 or 1 Light, 2 or 4-5 Dark, 2-5 Physical (19-46 icons; approx 32-33 icons avg) Other: Boosts Defense by 25 each use

Downside is the fact that it takes up two spots in your set, especially to get the benefits of the shield. Lack of blessings/curses, etc. really don't make it too worthwhile either. Both have all 9 elements, but that isn't necessarily good since the amount of possible icons is divided up into small denominations, as opposed to a weapon attacking or blocking with primarily Dark or Light icons (for example; 20 dark, 8 light, 8 earth).

The 25 boost in Str/Def is pretty nice though there are better weapons. Still, for T6 and 7, they aren't bad as infinite weapons. Just, not really good either.

I don't exactly run on a normal EXP spending plan. Sometimes I'll hoard for a week or two, maybe even a month; spend some immediately after BQs.

Depends on the stat I'm looking to boost too. Right now, I want to get El's speed above MaFa's, so she can stop crit-hitting me. x.x

Thanks! That's what I was trying to remember. Too bad we can't genetech them into one weapon. You wouldn't think it would be that hard to do since they've already been recycled once… :P I guess I'm better off buying myself something pretty or grabbing more books for the pets.

I contemplated getting the set myself last year, but I hardly ever recycle anything cause that would make way too much sense. I didn't compare the set to other t6/7 weapons though, so I might do that in a little bit. T7 and 8 are tough tiers to be in imho; the weapon selection sucks.

T8 is RoE -- so it's worth it just for that! (Not to mention the specs as well.) Plus T7 has Fruit Bone Dagger, pirate cutlass (I know, limited use, but it's still one of my favs -- esp against Sanddragon) and the legendary combos -- which are sometimes actually useful. T6 I think I used frost thorn & RIWoD for everything… LOL But yeah, none of those levels are as much fun as say, T5 -- when it seems like the battling world has opened up and you finally get to play with the cool toys. LOL

Yeah, those are pretty much my only weapons of interest too! T6 also means you can use Flayed Lord Breastplate--wish I had that bad boy much sooner in my arsenal. It works great for my littler guys.

T5 is definitely the tier of awesomeness. A lot of staples become available for use. Even t4 has some nice staples, like STS.

Day 2 into quentin weekend quest, and no amulets. :( Forget the mage, I'm gonna go egg Quentin's place!

Every tier has a weapon or two that's really great, T6 has the RIWoD, t8 also gets the P-staff and trident which are pretty useful, and both scale. I'm enjoying the expanse of weapons possibilities that my secondaries now have in T8, but it could just be that my armoury has a lot of t8 weapons in it!

DPI FORMULAS FINALLY FIGURED Thanks to and - we now have the official formulas regarding DPI confirmed.

Also, I wanted to ask for everyone's opinion: should we rename each formula accordingly?

Damage per Icon would be known as Attack Per Icon; and Block per Icon for Defense per Icon.

If you like this idea, say so. If not and think we should keep DPI as is, say so.

Damage per Icon --> rename it Attack per Icon formula: sq. root of STRENGTH stat divided by 4.2 will give you your pet's or opponent's API.

CritHits: Double your API result

Defense per Icon --> rename it to Block per Icon formula: sq. root of DEFENSE stat divided by 4 will give you your pet's or opponent's BPI.

Formula Application "Weapon does 10 attack icons, and my pet has 200 STR. How much damage will my pet do?" SQ RT (200) / 4.2= API: 3.4 10 x 3.4= approx 34 damage. Crit-hit: approx 67-68 damage.

"Weapon does 42 icons, pet with 2000 STR. How much damage will my pet do?" SQ RT (2000) / 4.2= API: 10.65 42 x 10.65= approx 447 damage. Crit-hit: approx 894 damage.
