yeah that's what I have too.

well it's a 100 turn blessing and curse, heals 125 per turn, 7 physical defense. then a 9 icon curse that lasts 100 turns and it raises your str/def/spd by 250 once when you use it. so that could make a difference?

it's just a weird weapon and I can see that it could be useful in some circumstances. I just like using a weapon instead of something like that, my same argument against blasting against enemies that don't need it.

I have a spare Helm for my Mecha, I do rely on my other Helm because I do like it. :D But I'm excited to get a Mecha and try it out. New weapons are always fun to use anyway. :D

You should, you just need a TON of dark water potions and a good set of water icon dealing weapons.

Thanks. For the explanation. I'm such a newb when it comes to battle strategies and such. But if it can help me beat Prodigy (hate him) that would be great. At least make my wins more consistent then sporadic wins. Plus maybe take on some of those heavy challengers.

Stealing and crits are really the only things that ever really give me any trouble against her. I did use the mecha against this challenger BTW.

I completely agree! I don't have a capped pet, and do my BQs whenever I have time to, my reward is exp. People with capped pets also spend a lot of their time doing BQs, and their reward is also exp. You can't suddenly take two years of their rewards away from them just because it doesn't suit you at the moment! Find a solution! Maybe allow people to move the exp from their capped pets to other pets instead, and then make it so that capped pets cannot earn exp.

Prodigy Staff and Trident or if you can borrow an Unstable Syringe (that the Mutated Scientist drops) that helps a ton. I borrowed one off to help me get 2 wins.

okay I will remod them with water stuff I guess XD since I don't need my trident to parch any more. I farmed 11 parched baguettes today anyway from my mini pets.

what about scrolls? and does blasting help or should I not bother?

Considering that UltimateFriend got her 5 wins at 3500 evens, I figured Claire should get them as well before the reset.

For the most part, you block magma/wind/fire and deal as many water icons as possible. Blasting may help as to give you a few turns where she does low damage and/or make her heal less (just one magma armor is pretty much a stalemate against Claire; two is so annoying).

Holy Deluge for the extra water icons. You wanna do as much water damage as you possibly can get against her. Plus she loves to steal with is SUPER annoying.

I don't remember my scroll use... I didn't switch out anything but I'm sure Skelly can offer a little bit of water icon damage.

should I put a natural armor crystal on my trident and pstaff then? then the rest water baguettes?

I'd say just mod all water baguettes. Otherwise, you are going to have trouble damaging her. Every last icon counts.
