I'm not totally against it or anything, I just don't think it's the right solution. I definitely wouldn't be upset, as I'd love to have enough to keep my second and maybe another pet always equipped with them, it's a pain moving them around when fighting certain challengers lol.

If they were nerfed I'm still putting my vote on just a limit to how many you can have equipped rather than a -% chance.

I don't have any freeze scrolls yet myself but I hope to get 1 or 2 later on down the road. If I remember correctly the Spider Queen is who gives them out? It's been so long since I've last been active with the battling scene.

She won't give them anymore, and she didn't even come back last year. You can earn one from beating GE 10 times from an achievement.

I like beign able to equip however many of whatever scrolls I want though :P If by spider queen you mean Nightlady (who looks like a spider queen) then yeah :). It's been said that her scrolls are perm retired though, so right now the only ones available is psycho smasher and void. (which I forgot about before, rather than -40%, halving it's chance would be more appropriate) There's gale force too but, its more like a morosbane than a shriek or smasher.

Oh wow. I was 'around' last October but only for the first part of the event. I didn't realize she wasn't going to be giving out scrolls anymore. But thanks for telling me that because I was going to make that my 'training goal' for the year and it would have been a pretty silly goal if she's not giving them out. What tier do you think 10x GE is?

There we go she has a name. She always just reminded me of the spider queen from Billy and Mandy, idek why. Are those the only ones that freeze? When I look at the Complete Scroll List it says 'chance to freeze' on quite a few of them instead of just '100% freeze' on any of them but they had a lot more than just 3 listed.

Something like tier 11, depends on how badly you want it tbh, since GE is a very RNG based opponent

but ty for that info. It'll probably be over a year before I try for them I guess then. I don't think I can go from Tier 5-11 in less than a year without hundreds of millions in stat boosters.

those are the only ones that freeze with any reliability, maybe could include perilous whirlpool in that but I don't ever use them and have no idea what their actual %chance is. Though I highly recommend using them for certain opponents cause they have 75 fire block as well, even if the freeze chance is very small.

There are very very few that we know the exact % chance on for freeze and steal scrolls. Most are too small for it to matter anyhow.

Oh okay. Subetalodge doesn't even list chance to freeze/heal/steal or icons though :P it's probably why I haven't bothered with scrolls much since I've come back. I have a few scrolls but for all I know they could really suck.

So to whoever asked earlier, T10 can beat GE 10x but expect to take some losses, probably way more than 6 since I'm like 100 stats from t11 lol.

I feel the same way. I don't even use freezing scrolls for the most part anymore. IDK why they would make them so limited when they don't even give us much application for them.

I'm pretty sure Shriek is 85% and Psycho Smasher is 80%.

I don't get what the difference is if our Tier 12s earn experience before the cap reset as opposed to earning it after. That makes zero sense to me. They are going to take away all the leftover exp, but we can earn more doing the exact same thing we were doing before to earn it?

xD I was excited and disappointed about the news post. I was already stocking there and I'm definitely a foodie but now that means more competition where I'm restocking....also it takes forever to do BQs when every other turn you're checking your shops :P
