Feel free to look for me. My RL name is Joni Antonacci and I'm a board sucker!!!! I've got tons up there!
Good luck with the job hunting!
Ooooo 'free' new clothes! Lovely!!! I can't wait to hear what you pick! The small table I got is so that my bunny has another place to hide, but where we can still see her. It's a vintage French metal table with a embedded mesh wire glass top. I saw it and fell in love!
I try every new hobby I can get my hands on. I have been using Duolingo too, most recently to brush up on my conversational Spanish, but now trying a go at French. I'm also trying out a new book called "Automate The Boring Stuff with Python"... a programming book so I can try it out! I also crochet & make soap. I LOVE to cook, but my job makes it a little more tough so I cook on weekends. On Saturday I did Butternut Squash & Pumpkin Stuffed shells with roasted garlic, sage butter sauce & mushrooms. It was pretty good!
I'm sure you can pick! What are your hobbies? I'm very good, thanks! I don't have lots of hobbies, but sometimes I make bracelets, read or play video games :o
Thank you very much!
Heya ! I'm not much of a studier lately. I'm not in school anymore! XP But in terms of hobbies, lately I've been doing a lot of jigsaw puzzles colouring and reading! Wow. I sound like an 85 year old.
Sounds like a pretty table!
Part of me wants to not spend it on clothes.. but I honestly don't know what I'd get for myself! $150 isn't enough for a tablet really.
True.. you could save it up until you have enough. I got my daughter a table (Nexus 7) for about $149 I think. It's a pretty nice tablet, maybe a little small of a screen though.
I know that feeling, I used to get so absorbed into them. The MMO is slightly doing that to me now, even. My boyfriend will ask me a question and I will be staring blankly at the screen a few seconds before a "huh..?"
FFXIV is lovely but doesn't fulfill me. ESO does have a lot of tempting cash items but the only ones I have purchased have been for want of an outfit or something cosmetic, I haven't felt like I needed to actually buy any of the stuff aside from small vanity things. That being said, I did subscribe to it for now, since it gives you access to the DLC. I didn't actually like the one time I tried BETA, it didn't help that FFXIV had released shortly before that and I got really into it. It's been keeping me occupied, I can't say what's driving me to keep going but I've tried a lot of different Korean MMOS like Ragnarok Online 2, Tera, and etc. A lot of games can be lonely without friends going into them though, ESO I feel like aside some of the later content, I can explore and do my own thing by myself and it's been enough to keep me busy. Admittedly, the social aspect is what keeps me playing it instead of going to Skyrim again. That and the fact that I am pretty sure I have done every quest in Skyrim between my characters.. XD
Kare Kano, that is one of those series I keep meaning to check out. I wanted to find the best version to watch though as I hear there's weird censored versions and ones with stuff cut out?
I do like Minecraft, I used to play mostly vanilla but the last time I sat down with my BF and played we had it modded to the moon and back, I love the ones that add cute stuff to make my house look like a home & I like the ones that extend farming and cooking, which I found Pam's Harvestcraft to be close but I wish someone could make a friendlier cookbook or something so I don't have to guess what goes into the furnace to cook a cheesecake. >.>; I really enjoy delving in that game and looking for plants and biomes, I got that when it was free one weekend back when it was new and went to buy it immediately after it was back. It's one that I can go back to periodically and play again. I think one of my favorite mods adds a jetpack, fall damage boots and stuff like that. ^^ I will have to poke my BF into searching for another fun mod pack to try out soon...~ The urge is returning.
<3
I'm just not sure if I /need/ a tablet. It would be nice, yeah.. but I have a computer.. granted it's broken xP
Perhaps you can get your computer fixed with it then... but that's not quite as fun of an idea! blah
I've actually already tried having it fixed and they gave it back saying they couldn't find the part they needed anywhere... so I think I need a new one :(
Now that doesn't seem fair at all! Retail therapy!!!!!
Haha, retail therapy indeed. We'll see what I feel a tickle to buy later ;) I do also have a ton of gift cards. I have to return a shirt and I want to buy a different one with the return money, and I have gift cards to 2 clothing stores!
Ohhhh, I'd forgotten :o Do you not get back often then?
So jealous of your background :p
Yeahhhhh, I think you're imagining that XD There is a high score table somewhere though :o Here it is!
Nice! I've never had a felt coat. Are they pretty waterproof?
Thanks :* this is the first time I do an animal body thing :o
Yay!!! The first day back is always a pain. What are you watching these days?
I did some excercise, went and fixed my grandpa's phone, some laundry, cleaned the dogs, some tv watching and I just went to get my dad at the station.
Mhhh, I don't know :o I don't really have many hobbies other than sculpture and reading. You could take up some excercise classes?
Well I'm learning german, if that helps XD
Like a proper cardboard puzzle? :o I haven't done one of those in... Years :o I'm glad it's put you in a good mood though aha.
Yep! My sister got me one for Christmas and I got a puzzle mat from my mom C: I finished one last week.. took me probably 6-7 hours total but I worked on it over a week and a half. This one is going to be tougher. I was at it about an hour and didn't even finish the outside edges! GAH! I'm trying to buy stuff for the unique items in the shop achievement.. and it's just so boring and tedious.
Ah, that's nice :D I really need to dig out some old ones.
How many pieces are there? Urgh, I know. I can't even be bothered doing that. I'll get there eventually... Or not XD I just shove all my quest stuff in there and hope for the best XD
Its a nice past-time, that's for sure! I put on some tunes and just get right into it xD There's 1000 pieces in this one. The last one had the same but it was standard pieces.. this one is all messed up!
I'm getting close which is why I've started buying stuff. I have 38k total and about 11.2 unique.. I want 15k unique.
I love puzzles! I did one yesterday that we received here in the office as a gift from National Geographic of the South Pole. I'm crap at figuring out how to put up pictures or I'd show you
Ooh, Have you ever tried Codecademy? That's what I was using to learn code. I very much try every hobby I too can get my hands on. But I've yet to find a passion. I wanted to try making soap or candles, but I don't know where to start. Everytime I look into it I feel swamped in goods and things and feel overwhelmed and back out. Oh Cooking is fun too! That sounds absolutely delicious! I made Portabello mushrooms with an A1/Worcestersire sauce last night, with an asparagus, potato, peas, corn, and bellpepper medley as a side. My favorite things to make though are Shepherd's Pie(But with Ground Turkey, because I don't eat lamb.) and tamagoyaki. I really like delving into Asian cuisine.
I have so many hobbies. But I want a skill that I can produce something with. It's kinda like feeling a need to help someone but not knowing how too. I have a lot of interest and wish too, but I haven't learned anything in particular to throw that interest and wish into. If I had more money my house would end up looking like a Michael's Arts and Craft store!
Or a 5 year old! Both are rather enlightening to watch and interact with though, so I mean that as a compliment! I love coloring. But I need new coloring supplies. Bah! Jigsaw puzzles I have a hard time with coming to terms of spending money on them. It's one of those, "Ill spend 10$ to do this once and never look at it again? Ehhh..." And knowing me, I'd never even finish it xD
Actually, just glancing at your reply to PinkDiamond, You can get a Kindle Fire HD 6 for $99.99 on Amazon o.o The one I want for myself , the Fire HD 8 is exactly $149.99, Although not sure what tax brings it too. And they have the basic Fire at $49.99. You might check them out, they seem quality. o.o
That's how I too felt about FFXIV. So much pretty, but So much alone too or people focused on Grinding. I miss Tera a bit. Their RP Server had a good mix of getting things done, playing together, and things to do on your own. And it was pretty. I agree, Community is a definite need to really enjoy an MMO. I played Luna Online for years, not because it was good but because I loved the people I played it with.
For all my love of TES, I've never completed a game because I'm scared of everything xD
I don't know much about Kare Kano now, I watched it a long time ago when it showed up on On Demand back in the day xD If anything was missing, I didn't notice o.o
Oh Man, Pam's is a must in my repertoire of Mods I adore. If you've never seen the Little Maid Mob Mod, I really recommend it. They are too cute and so helpful. You can set a maid to guard places for you, follow you and mine with you, carry torches for you and process things through furnaces and alchemy stations... Sheep shearer.. It's just incredible. Also, McCrayfish's furniture mod is pretty phenomenal too! I love decor and a friend of mine who actually also plays Subeta and I delved into making our own modpack actually. It was so much fun! You'd be more than welcome to come play with us. We're considering setting a server up again so we can play without lag and use our own modpack again.
xD Kind of, I've been self-teaching myself Spanish, Korean and Japanese for ages now. I never get very far though x.x;
I've been hunting for puzzle trading groups online.. unfortunately to no avail as of yet but my friends and I are going to swap amongst ourselves for a while! C: I never really want to do the same puzzle twice either!
Is the kindle tablet any good? My boyfriend was suggesting an android one.
Ooo, nice! 15k unique is a good goal :o
Yeah, I'm sure! Do you have somewhere you can leave them till you get back to them?
Ooo, that sounds like a really nice but difficult one!
Ah yeah. Languages are hard. You have to really commit!
Well it's proving to almost be too high of a goal! And then I've decided that once I get there I'm selling everything off XP Anything over 15k unique seems IMPOSSIBLE.
I do! I have a puzzle mat that rolls up. It's like a big piece of felt and it rolls around a cardboard tube. Good for storing C:
