Hey, guys. Sorry I haven't been on lately, this past week has been kind of a nightmare. I'm overly stressed with work, I'm sick, and on my period. So I feel like my body just hates me and my emotions are all over the place. I hope all of your are doing well.

It's been very stressful and demanding. I love working with children, but this age group is too young, and I know it's not where I belong. It's eating at me a lot. I'm trying to get used to it, but it's not sticking. I'm not sure what to do. I just stay exhausted and stressed constantly.

Well, how long has it been since you started? I'm sure when you feel healthier things will already look better.

I've been there for 8 days now. Not long, I know, but I've had prior experience with toddlers, and I know it's not where my heart is. It just stresses me out constantly. I prefer children aged around 4-8. They're slightly more independent, and I don't have to change diapers xD My coworkers are nice so far, so that's helpful. It's just not for me. I'm going to try to make it work for now, and then maybe try to find a preschool or paraprofessional position after I've saved enough money to move away from here.

Ah I see. It does make it hard not having a second to yourself. And diapers does not sound fun XD Well I'm glad that there's at least that! That sounds like a very good plan :) I'm sorry it's being hard on you though :/ Not the best first job XD

I wish I had more time to myself and with Josh. So far I've been working full time and 9 and a half hour shifts, so I'm excited for the weekend. Tomorrow I'm only scheduled for 10-5:30. I'm not sure why, but I'm not complaining about the 2 hours of extra sleep lol.
