Nope, pings aren't appearing facepalm I didn't get that one at least. Just group pings. Not sure if they're working today? I don't think anyone's pinged me.
Hey, at least you own a private, now, that's kinda neat :)
Yep, it's Queen Victoria's birthday (though that's actually on the 24th, hence why a lot of people call it the May 2-4 weekend) :) She's the longest serving queen, and is the namesake of the Victorian era. Though the current queen will probably overtake her.
Enjoying the day off?

They should be fixed now :o
Yeah it is :o How's it going?
Got that intern today?
Yep all fixed :)
Nope! Like Lau, I'm off work. It's a holiday. The intern starts on Wednesday now. Hopefully she's over her illness by then :)
EDIT: Woohoo, just got a Grimdark Lady Loaded Brush at the subq refresh! Been trying to grab one since they released. I saw one earlier today, but didn't have any sp in my inventory facepalm

Oh, congrats! Those are some of my favorite eyes!
Ah, here's hoping!
I think I've seen you or Alana wearing them, and they look nice. I usually use the same 2-3 eyes, so I need to shake it up :)
The subq restocks seem kind of empty now. They've retired a bunch of stuff! I'm running low on invites anyway, so maybe that's good.

More like recovering, today than enjoying the day xP Rough night last night.
Oh, nothing bad! Just went out and had a little too much rum.
Oh I hear you. I can't drink rum unless it's really, really top shelf, because I went on an all inclusive Caribbean vacation... and I think you can figure out what came next. Ha.

Fair enough xP I enjoyed the drinks! Just not so much the headache today ;)
How's your holiday Monday?
I got SCREWED by this long weekend. All y'all got a 3 day weekend.. today is my only day off and is my regular day off. xP
Pretty boring, honestly! Just another day off of doing nothing special. Slept in on a Monday, but that's it.
That really does suck! They couldn't even give you one extra day because you're closed today?
[center]
Kind of nice to have that one extra day to sleep in though, huh?
Of course not! They'd have to close and turn away business xP BUT this coming weekend is my 3 day weekend, yay! No Saturday OR Sunday work for me!
Definitely. Skipping a Monday is always a good thing. The four day work-week is always nice, too.
Oh, so it's not actually closed today? I guess that makes it a little more understandable. At least you do get a 3 day weekend, even if it is a little delayed.
[center]
Yeah we're actually closed Mondays as well. So we're all off on Mondays I guess. My weekend is typically sunday, monday, but lately I've been working Sundays until they hired someone to take over for me.
How's the hiring process going? Are they close to finding someone? I imagine that will make life a lot easier on you. Unless they take away hours you want?
[center]
They got someone! I trained her for about 2 weeks and she had her first shift alone last week! I'm so excited! I wouldn't have picked her as my first choice.. she's not quite.. peppy enough to be a receptionist, but the owner is convinced she'll get there.... ( really don't think it's a learned skill - you either have it or you don't )
and then they went and hired another esthetician who I DO NOT like.
Not taking away a TON of hours from me, but some.. yes.. and I'm willing to let it happen. I was working like 50ish hours a week for a while there.
Sometimes people are a bit shy when they start somewhere new, so it's possible she might warm up a bit. I think I'm sort of like that. But yeah, you definitely have to have a people-person gene. You don't get that with time.
Ouch, 50-hours is a bit much. I can understand why you'd want to decrease a bit. Even if the money's nice, free time is also nice.
What's wrong with the new girl, that you don't like her? Do you have to work that closely with her if she's not in reception?
[center]
Free time is DEFINITELY nice. And it gives me a chance to do a bit of Jamberry work as well so I won't be pressed for cash or anything.
I just don't really like her style with clients. She's very abraisive and I worry that the little old ladies won't like it.
When I take clients I work closely with her :/
What do you do to promote Jamberry?
Oh yeah, I don't like people like that either. There's a balance between being blunt, and just being abrasive and rude.
