He makes everything from flower pots to mugs, bowls, and plates to fine porcelain vases. He also works for the museum on occasion to repair and/or piece back together assorted archaeological pottery finds.

Other characters to include: His minion Daphne the Danphe, his wife Glory, an Aqua Priggle, and their three young children, Quinbo, the middle and only son, Iris the eldest, and Rosie the youngest. The kids can sometimes pull something on their father, but never their mother. She always knows. Glory raises and trains small ponies to ride and pull carts. She loves paints especially, and has won many prizes at fairs with them. Her stock is well known and sought after.
