@ herbal Ohh. Neato. o: I'll take a look at him. I just started replaying DA2, and I want to replay Origins. I haven't played it in so long that I've completely forgotten everything that's happened, as well as a lot of the lore. Most of what I've been reading is tied in with things I find in Inquisition, so I need to read up and get back into that shit, yoooo. <3 Btw your English is amazing. I have nothing on his profile yet. I haven't really thought up what to do with him. I also own Amatus, which will probably be where Aylen's stuff sits when I get around to it. I'm waiting for the name to clear, but idk if the owner of the current Aylen pet is inactive or not.
xx
I've heard some things about Mythal possibly being another one of the people who possibly held a piece of Mythal in them before. And a few other things, like whispers that happen if you drink from the well because there's a voice under all the interference that seems to talk about Mythal.
One thing I was curious about was what would happen if a mage Inquisitor was made Tranquil. Of all people the Inquisitor seems to have the closest tie to the Fade, aside from those like Solas, so I wonder if Tranquility would affect them in the same way. Idk, just weird thoughts.
Another weird thing: Supposedly the Black City is visible in the final Corypheus boss battle, but I have yet to confirm it for myself. c:
I have the exact same urge, I thought I'd go back to DA2 after finishing this playthrough, it's been way too long since the last time I visited Kirkwall.
Amatus is the actual cutest pet name oh my goodness ❤️ I adore the way Dorian says it. And yeah I have the same problem, waiting for names to clear is such a nuisance. There's one I've been keeping an eye on like a hawke :')
SPOILER (click to toggle)
I've only heard the undercurrent voice once (in an extracted youtube video), it was so cool and gave me the chills. I want to know if it's about Mythal or if it could be about someone else? I haven't yet drunk from the well because it felt wrong to do so as a dwarf considering the elven legacy, but now with Quil I'm planning to do so.
That is... that's something I haven't even considered, that is amazing. It would definitely be interesting to explore it, and how tranquility affects them considering they have a physical tie to the Fade...
I'll keep an eye out for the Black City during the final battle, I have to say I didn't pay much attention to it on my first playthrough. :o
Another thing I find interesting is that Corypheus seems to talk to Dumat and there are responses, up until the point he declares himself a new god and creates the mockery of an archdemon, when he mentions that the old gods are silent or .. something along the lines anyway. Which would suggest that perhaps the defeated old gods are not as dead as we've been told? Maybe, possibly. /speculation.
Ok now I really gotta dash, I'm almost late. D:
I'm sooo excited to keep playing it. Ungh. I've played through DAI twice, and I'm on my third playthrough (Always with Aylen. I don't even know why xD I'm so attached to the little critter)
I was so surprised when it was open so I snatched it up immediately. And ikr. xD I actually just checked into Hawke last night. haha.
teehee
Yeah, it is really cool. We probably saw the same video since its the only one I found. xD But it was really neat. I wonder if red lyrium has anything under the masking, aside fromw hat you already sent. You can hear things coming from it if you get close enough that sound like whispers.
I didn't even think about it until I played through a few quests in DA2, specifically the one with Karl and Anders where Anders goes Justice and Karl loses his Tranquility for a moment and says it feels like Anders pulled the Fade and brought it closer. What if you had a tie to the Fade in your hand? Idk. xD
There's also a mural of Shartan/Solas(?) on the ground at one point.
Yeah. There's definitely something going on with the old gods. I'm really excited to see if they do anything with them. There are so many directions that the series could go its actually super thrilling. I hope they start putting them out quicker now, since DAI was so popular. Idk if I can wait 3 years again. xD I think they're down to 2 years for Mass Effect? Idk, I think they released the first one around the same time as DA2 and there's three finished and a fourth supposedly coming out soon. I hope they crank up the speed in which they release Dragon Age.
Go go go! Have fun!
Thanks for the info! :3 I seem to be getting banter/music about every 30-40 minutes, so I'll try fast traveling through the war table to see if that helps. If it doesn't I'll survive until the patch comes out. :3 (Or until I get my PC and stop playing on my bf's PS4 if the modders fix it by the time I get it and Bioware hasn't been able to). XD
I am currently playing on my boyfriend's PS4, but I'm saving up for a gaming PC that I'll switch to as soon as I can afford it. I preordered DA:I thinking I'd have the computer by Christmas... College decided I need to pay for books before my computer. (pfft) XD
I need to work on all of my pets... Especially my Dragon Age ones. ;w; I just really need to find the time to do it. XD Maybe this weekend I'll have some time. I think Efa and Inness (named for my two Inquisitors) have decent stories so far, but I'm not super happy with them... And I really need to work on Cullen Rutherford, Trevelyan, Cadash, Lavellan, and Adaar...
Hey everyone! I really love Inquisition, it's so gorgeous.
My main Inquisitor is a general-elemental/rift mage Trevelyan, who is romancing Dorian (because I'm so very weak for mages). His name is Kinnard, I love him so much it's ridiculous and I'm vaguely ashamed haha.
I have three other Inqs that I haven't fully fleshed out and gotten above level 5 yet but I'm very excited for them when I finish Kinnard.
I'm loving the hell out of it <3 Playing as a qunari mage and in her spare time she's a Bull rider. ;D
Thank you for the information. :) I play on Xbox 360. I am too cheap to buy a new console.
[flower=Steffy]
I love this game so much. ;_; My first playthrough was with a qunari mage with rift specialisation and I romanced Sera.

College is always getting on the way of everything. I hope you'll get to play on PC soon! I wish I could, but my laptop is so not on par with gaming computers, alas.
Efa and Inness sound super cute, I'd love to know more about them :o I've got a couple of DA-themed pets as well that desperately need some working on. (I've got a bunch of other pet OCs that I don't really know what to do with anymore because I've completely scrapped their story and now I've been just thinking of ways to set their characters in Thedas-verse as well... )
YOU ARE THE ONE WHO HAS CADASH. >:O (congrats for snatching it though!)
Don't worry I'm stuck with oldgen too, although it's PS3 for me. I feel so betrayed that oldgen didn't get scars and freckles in CC althoough the NPCs have them. )8
Eyy more rift mages romancing Dorian, there seems to be quite a few of us here, welcome! And please don't be ashamed, I'm sure we all have gotten entirely too attached to our inquisitors...
Whoops sorry this reply comes so late, I've been super busy moving out of my flat so everything else has been on hold.
lyrium talk, cont'd
I've been wondering the same, that there could be a similar message under the lyrium sound. Perhaps something related to dwarves? I'm quite convinced that the two are connected, or at least the ancient hive mind dwarves/dwarven dreams and (red?) lyrium.
I've been trying to figure out how the rift anchor affects dwarven inquisitors (I'm appalled there wasn't more content about it, considering everything), and perhaps it could work similarly for the Tranquil since the two seem to have a lot of similarities Fade-wise. Maybe a Tranquil inquisitor could get more in touch with their self/magic with the physical contact to the Fade? There's stuff about the rite of Tranquility in Asunder so I won't get more into that bc I don't want to spoil, but.. imo it could work?
AND YES I actually saw a screenshot of the mural you described - apparently it's there when Corypisshead is trying to summon/call for Dumat. :o The mural in question is Mythal's though, which... seems to link Mythal and the first Archdemon? I'm definitely intrigued to know more.
It also got me to thinking the other day, how the Elven pantheon have both procreative/positive and destructive/negative abilities, while the Old God religion that the humans of Tevinter practiced seemed to function mainly via sacrificial means and to keep the gods from destroying them? It.. sounds like they could be one and the same, but obviously favoring elves?
Ikr I hope they'll manage to set a faster pace now that they've done their thing with the Frostbite engine and they could build upon that instead of having to recreate everything? I have no idea how game developing works but I guess the workload should be a little lesser for the next games now that they don't have to make everything from scratch? And yeah it worries me a little that the Inquisitor has so much power and influence that it would be weird to ignore them in the next game but at the same time I really enjoy the different perspectives we get when we get to play new characters from new backgrounds, it's definitely one of DA's charms.
Ahhh i love love love inquisition so far ^_^
I'm still on my first play through (Gotta love working 2 full time jobs lol) But i went with a human mage. Currently romancing Sera.
Ha ha
Pinchy butts :D
It really is. XD Silly college. Thanks! With any luck I'll be able to order my computer soon. :3 My laptop isn't either, I've been saving for this computer for like a year... Ugh. I keep having to spend what I've saved though.
Aw, thanks! Inness is currently still in the works, I'm really hoping that more hair styles get added before I create her and start playing her. Efa is my current playthrough, so I'll be adding more to her as I progress through the game. XD Though, I'm admittedly distracted by a rogue archer that I started earlier this week (named Ena, romancing Solas, siding with the mages). I dunno which one of them I'll finish first.
I do! XD Thank you. I made Cadash, Lavellan, Trevelyan, and Adaar before I switched my username to Cullen (I was Inquisitor then). X3
XD Sera is awesome.
I love all the things she calls the main bad guy...
Hidden in case you haven't gotten to Skyhold
Corephy-fish. Corephunus. Corephy-whatever. Corphy-face. X3
I love having her and Cole in the same party.
Sera, Sera, Sera, Sera xD
XD Me too! I've had a lot of fun with my second inquisitor, she usually keeps Solas, Sera, and Blackwall in her party. There's some amusing banter that goes on between all of them too.
Sera: Right, you're messing with me on purpose! Solas: Why would I do that? It is not as though I know who filled my bedroll with lizards.
Ha ha yeah I always love listening to the party banter ha ha
I Loved listing to Varric and Fenris in DA2
Yeaaah, Rift mages with Dorian for the win.
No problem! Congrats on moving? Hopefully its an upgrade. xD
SPOILER (click to toggle)
Tranquility is just so interesting to me, especially when Cassandra talked about how she felt she was made Tranquil (removed her emotions, etc.) then was made un-Tranquil. I don't know how accurate that is because my understanding of Tranquility was that it was removing contact with the Fade, unless everyone has some contact with the Fade in one way or another. Which might make sense because its believed that's where you go when you die. Mages could just have a stronger tie.
I actually also saw something that said they thing the Temple of Sacred Ashes might have been built over an ancient Elven ruins dedicated to Mythal. But that would be too simple. At least that's how it feels, but I don't know. xD
I swear. If the next game's not in Tevinter I'm going to be disappointed. xD They could be the same, it would be interesting to see how Tevinter would respond to having the same gods as the elves but the people they now keep as slaves were preferred over them.
I am so obsessed with this game now. The characters all have so much depth.

OMG OMG I love your Solas avi!!! fangirl squeal Rofl.
I have to agree that this game is AWESOME. I was really busy IRL when DA:O came out and never got into the game. But Inquisition sucked me in big time and I started Origins back up after playing through Inquis a few times.
My first character was an archer/assassin that romanced Cullen. But as I got into the story more I realized I also needed some Solas and Dorian in my love life. XD 2nd playthrough was a knight-enchanter that went with Solas and 3rd (still in progress) is a necromancer. :D

Thank you so much! I had so much fun making it! :) Besides, I needed a reminder of the mage that broke my heart. Rarely do I ever play a game more than once (because I'm so bad about actually finishing them), but I'm all ready for a round two on DA:I. I might decide to "ride the bull" this time around. ;)

you did a great job with it! I wish I could heart/like it about 1000 more times. Poor tortured soul, lol. I just want to love you Solas! JUST LET ME! XD Also, I am the same way! I almost never beat games but I totally got through Inquisition twice cause it was so addictive. Being able to mess with the tapestry and world states, plus seeing differences in the decisions made... ahhh too much fun. The bull really scares me but I youtubed some of his scenes and they're... well... something, rofl. XD I've been playing other games lately but my 3rd character is gonna snuggle up to Dorian whenever I get back into it. I didn't think I liked him at first (same with Solas) but once I got to know him better he became one of my faves (also same with Solas.)
