The shop issue is somewhat unrelated to the skins issue. If the skins were re-released, it would probably be better to keep it a one-time hard to obtain, more "controlled" way, but when it comes to the Den I'm going to support something newbies could unlock (again, doesn't mean easy, means permanently available / "not plot" ).

Oh, I think it would be fun! But then again, it would probably feel nicer to legacy zombies if only one skin could be unlocked by other people. That way, we would have two special skins (if we chose to put up the effort), and "humans" would have one; if everyone could unlock everything, then I think it would become a little bland and not as special as it currently is ;c

I'm starting to getting anxious for next Survival, I suspect there will be plenty of cool things for us to do xD

Also, since now we have zombie skins as actual skins (not bases), I wish in the future we can also have Ji Meneb skins (maybe with horns or wings embedded?), Islander skins (tattoos!!), Pirate skins (body hair? peg leg?), a Delphi beach tan (with tan marks?), those Arctic Frost people (with their particular skin tone) and every possible skin under the sun of Subeta c:

As a background lover, I'm glad there are now backgrounds of the different lands and I am 100% wishing for skins to go with them, so I can make actual Subeta themed Subeta avatars :D

That is an awesome idea, basically have skins for each land and its people. I've often wished that Subeta would play up more of their characters/npcs and lore and bring it all to the forefront. They are getting there, it's just taking awhile.

While there are pros and cons to the situation, overall I'm happy with the change.

There is no way to make every single person on site happy with the situation - because in order to make user1 happy, you make user2 unhappy.

For the users who have not cured, they've been "punished" for all the years they chose not to cure. Of course they feel entitled to some exclusive skins to make up for all that.

For those who did cure, they feel they've lost out on an opportunity. And no one likes to feel they've lost something. They feel like they are being punished now.

I would like to see a situation where the old skins do become available at some point. But, if there was a way to "earn" them, rather than just give them out willy nilly, there would less feelings of punishment vs. entitlement. If they need to be worked for, then the non-curers wouldn't feel their sacrifices were in vein, and the curers, hopefully wouldn't feel they've lost something permanently.

As for the Den, I'm a 2009 zombie, so I'm one of those "exclusive" den users - but I think the den should be opened to everyone, for all years. I don't think exclusivity is good for anyone, even though I'm one of those who "benefits" from the exclusivity.

Yeah, that's what I thought! Whenever applicable, skins for all Subeta lands. Within that context, "zombies" wouldn't be as much the opposite of "humans" as they would be just another Subeta population. Granted, they have their own lore, their own event and several particular characteristics, what includes more skin types, but I feel it'd help get past this polarization the old Survival mechanics has caused (which I greatly dislike).

Plus it would probably help with lore efforts, I've always wanted to know more about Subeta ethnicities and suspected the lack of information about them is what kept people from using their HAs to portray/create their own Subeta-themed OCs c:

Exactly! I don't think the skins should be too alike the Npcs bases, but something very similar that people would recognize as say being an Islander. Some of them would be hard to transfer to a skin, as they don't have anything in difference to humans than pointed ears. But I have faith that the art department could come up with something unique.

Personally I think an interesting solution to the Zombie den issue would be for Skitters to post a 30 day going out of business sale for all current zombies. Then retire everything currently in the Zombie Den from all prior years, and have Skitters open a living friendly shop to everyone with all new unliving crafted merchandise.

While I wish this change had come out before Morostide, (some zap skins i got that I would love to still have access to) It gives me something to really look forward to next year for. Once Beta wardrobe is de-bugged, and all of the wardrobe owned shows up there, it will really be worth using.

True, Blanche! XD He could say he bought his apartment and say the funds are now being used towards improvements of the Den and the Underground XD I mean, how many sPs do you need before you finally can buy your sky pad? XD

I'd like it if the older items were available to all (from all years), if this is the way things are going, for at least one year. Then, maybe after that, there could be a quest or something that you could do that would give you zombie points. Maybe there could be a new quest giver in the Underground (that heavy-weight champ, perhaps? He needs all the food he can get LOL!). These points would allow you to enter any shop from any year to buy one item with sP. The points would be your ticket in, just like the SubQ invites are to the SubQ. You could choose to go into one year's shop with that point and buy one item of your choice for the listed price. The more points you have, the more shopping you can do. However, once you make one purchase, it'd take you back to the home page of Skitters' shop and you'd have to go back into a particular year's store for another purchase. I don't know if the right-click the item you want to buy and open in a new tab feature would work here. It could (and I hope it does) just so that you're not continuously going back and forth to the main entrance if you want to shop in one shop only. It'd be a tedious, tedious task XD

The current year would still be open to everyone. This would be just for the older years' shops.

I have been a zombie for a couple of years and I went to my wardrobe just to check out the skins and now I can't get into the Alchove to make stickers. Is anyone else having this problem. What did I do? I have not taken a cure so I should still be a zombie!
