Maybe we can get the spooky pets involved as inspiration for food items - Graveyard Charlie Cookies, Bloodred Dillema Donuts, etc?

I love all of the ideas here, especially this one! I'd love to see more pets involved with plots. Maybe if you have a Graveyard pet they can lead a non-zombie into Skitter's Den once a day?

Sliced devil's Head Cactus? Or maybe raw (or live!) Sea Cucumbers?

But what about the people who don't have, or don't want Graveyard pets. They aren't everyone's cup of tea.

I think 's food-item ideas are a blast (esp on page two).

We already have an Alchove and a Genetech as places to make stuff though. I think aside from the external story no additional features need be created. Any and all of the new foods that aren't already sold as foods can be made at any of those places.

As to what zombies are like, when I talk to people who've never seen Subeta that there's zombies here, they all think slow-moving fresh-only carnivores who have no intelligence whatsoever. This is clearly not what happens here.

As to who is eating the foods, I gotta keep harping on this, the only game-function that has eating involves pets. I've known cats dogs and petrats that'd totally go for a lot of the zombie foods. You-the-HA-zombie can purely imagine or headcannon yourHAself as eating anything you please, because gamewise you can't eat.

You do have a point, although those aren't exactly food exclusive. Maybe it could be part of a game like the potion making in Pottermore? You could collect recipes and cook your own food? Make a mistake and your concoction goes up in smoke, get it right and you have the dish. I don't how difficult it would be to implement, though...

We don't exactly know what the zombies are actually like; that is to say, how their physiology works. Some look like conventional zombies while others just look bizarrely mutated. For all we know, I could be utterly wrong and Subetan zombies are only capable of ingesting poop and vomit and so on. Subeta does have a lore of it's own, and while our HAs have no eating function, the food may not necessarily be meant for pets. The NPCs, presumably need to eat, and they would probably get those foods. Oh, I believe you about pets eating anything. At least two of my dogs will cheerfully gobble up any of the zombie foods here. Ugh... It's a nightmare if you're trying to de-worm them.

That may work!

We will need some actual bone china cups and plates for tea service, of course! Some tea shops have wicker baskets of their products for sale - maybe the zombies would have some woven from the finest fallen-out hair? Or pond weeds for the savouries basket...

I don't know about pets effecting their HA, but it would be good if they were involved in seasonal fun.
Maybe achievements for eating all the Creepy Themed Cookies? Or maybe if we had drink items to mix alchemist-style, they could give the pet a stats boost, healing or battle item for seasonal opponents...?
(I don't battle though, so this may not work or be plausible!)

Bone china- made out of skeletons in the closet? Poison ivy baskets, maybe? or cactus ones? And we need some other accoutrements too! How about a Lazy Susan who actually is (was) a Susan who was too lazy a maid for her own good?

The battling part might work. There are always seasonal opponents. Maybe a temporary stat boost against a specific opponent?

So, she would be sitting there, spinning round slowly, with a plate balanced in each hand? That would be even better if she was multi-limbed. :)

Using on site items, there could also be Viral Bakery theme too - so Lotus Pie, Creeping Crumble, and so on.

Well, then, an octopus maid? A stuffed octopus maid! XD

Maybe incorporate the cures too? Candied Loveberries, Lamouracillin Linzer Torte and so on?

That would be fun - though I hope cooking kills the cure as I want to stay zombie! :)

Also, when browsing, saw the items below - acid foods and metal foods?
Maybe the metallic ones would fit with the Masquerade style, not just zombie kind?

I'm sure it would. :) Not fair to turn a zombie unless they want it.

I think the drinks would have to be acidic... Making food with acid would just dissolve the food part. Probably. Or cause an explosion. headdesk Wait that's a great idea! :D Exploding acidic foods! They explode in your stomach! Metal could work too. Mercury fumes was what made hatters mad. So maybe mercury hookahs? Or are we crossing a line there?

The genres and chemicals are mixing together - panic! ;)

Arsenic and Mercury were 'medicinal' in the past, so they would be good for food stuff. Or the Victorian favourite, Laudanum might make a nice Zombie bedtime drink...?

Actually, that would make a lot of drugs qualify... And a bedtime snack- Poppyseed Cake- with extra seeds? And maybe Coke... with original flavouring?

Glass of Choke - what do they flavour this with...? Another please!

Skitter's Patent Sleeping Powders - mix with water for a permanent night's sleep!

Quentin's Exotic Elixir - good for (causing) what ails you!

I'll keep the ball rolling

Glass of Spite - Maleria's finest!

Glass of Dropsy - Don't drink too much!

Glass of Phanta - Excellent if you like your spirits!

And maybe an assortment of chemical infused hot cocoas and cocktails?

EDIT: Roostertails?!

Love the Phanta and Spite.

Roostertails! Let's go with it...

Roostertail Risotto - No need for parmesan, feathers will do! Cream of Roostertail Soup - Waiter, there's a rooster in my... oh. :D

Chilli and chocolate is a popular thing - maybe some:
Ghost Chilli Chocolate Drink - You weren't fond of your tongue, were you...?

Glass of Dr Crippen - You might need to strain this one before you drink. (Do you know what Dr Pepper tastes like?)

Aaaah!!! Ghost Chillies! I tasted a bit once. I couldn't taste anything for a week. In other words, perfect ghoul food.

Chimney Soup - Unfortunate chimney sweep included. (Have you heard of chimney soup? It's a Chinese dish here, but I don't know if it's available elsewhere.)

Chop Suey - Mind your tongue...

Iced Scream - Wear earmuffs when defrosting.

We've got a lot of food, but what about breakfast? Maybe a line of spooky cereals and juices?

Scorn Flakes (this was too easy -__-) - And there goes your day...

Been busy trick or treating, but liking those ideas. :)

My other half loves the actual Dr Pepper, and I joked it should be made using peppercorns: Dr Szechwan Pepper - Hot, hot!

Breakfast, hmm.
I would replace orange juice with: Deraged Juice - I hope you like drinks with crazy bits...

Tyre(Tire) Iron Waffles - I love the taste of metal in the morning.

Prickly Pancakes and Cyanide Syrup - If the thorns don't get you, the syrup will.

Glass of Ilk - Ilk? So what exactly did you squeeze that out of...?!

XD Ilk? What does- no, wait, I don't want to know!

Maybe replace Papaya Juice with

Porphyria Juice - Keep it out of the sun!

And

Pumpkin Juice is

Lumpkin Juice - So that's what happened...

And perhaps a serving of

Shroom Omelette - A beautiful start to your day...

Geese Omelette - Foie Gras and more!

Scrambled Legs - If you enjoy jogging for your breakfast.
