I just started crocheting. It is a sort of rite of passage on my dad's side of the family. Basically all of the women used to know how to crochet. People started losing the skill and so I decided to learn. My great aunt has been teaching me. What in your opinion is the easiest but prettiest stitch for an afghan?
I've been crocheting just over a year and I'm making a blanket for my mum. It will (hopefully, by June) be 81 six-inch granny squares in yellow, lime and orange.
I like doing broom handle lace afghans you use a regular crochet hook and a large needle the size of a broom handle in circumference (you can find them at craft stores) I think the pioneer women used actual broom handles lol That stitch if pretty and very fast you work in five stitch increments.
Knitting? Wow...the last time I did that was in elementary school and I know: I won't do it again xDD
I love working with Fimo and other polymer clay stuff. Oh and I try myself on jewelry atm :3
Well, let's see...I do: Leatherwork (mostly 1/9th scale horse saddles lol), cross-stitching, sewing, polymer clay, papercraft (video game models), general miniatures...Basically I'm a very crafty dude!
Right now I'm working on a cross-stitch coaster in a Navajo pattern, and a papercraft Eevee.
Oh, wow. This is the first time I've logged onto this site in months. I'm sorry if anyone feels that I've been ignoring them, heh.
Hello everyone my name is liz and arts and crafts I simply love.

pun joke of the day= Q: Why did the chicken cross the road twice? A: Because it was a double-crosser.
i have TONS of pony beads ive been trying to get rid of for ages! (i do a lot of trades: items for items kind of deal)
I'm trying to sew a little terrycloth cat for a friend and now I wish I'd paid more attention in Home Ec
I really do not know how to go about with trades. I have not really ever sold my stuff or traded. What colors do you have anyway? Im just curious because there is unique colors I do not own in pony beads. (sparkle, neon etc)
That sounds really cute. Have you tried youtube at all? I do not know if there is tutorials for that sort of thing but thats where I learned how to make a portion of my crafts. Maybe someone has a video of what you need.
