- Welcome to subeta!! :) I still play neo too, but I spend most of my time here anymore because neo was stressing me out too. xD I can never leave neo forever though, with how much effort I've put into it since ~2001. (And I'm still trying to trade for an UC RB shoy though lol, so I have to see that through.) The staff & mods here are infinitely better. (The whole site is better!) I'm actually a little sad I didn't find subeta sooner! I'm sure you've heard all about the collections and site events and whatnot, but if you think of any questions I'd be happy to help! ^^

Hah, yeah. Neopets' filters and rules just seemed to get crazier and stricter with time. Subeta is much better as far as uninhibited communication goes.

I'm really impressed about, more than anything else Subeta, how kind everyone is.

I think the worst thing about communicating on Neopets (aside from the crappy filter that doesn't let you use words like sKILLs and NUTcracker) is that you have to pretend that no other websites exist. You'd probably get frozen for saying Subeta... that's to say if it would even pass the filters in the first place. o.O

Good luck with trading for an UN pet, especially one so popular. I like some of the old art better but I like dressing pets up too much to want UN pets... especially considering how difficult it is to jump through all the hoops to get one. I was just saying to my husband earlier today that I wish I stuck with playing Subeta when I first created my account as opposed to letting it rot for however long until I came back to it.

- Definitely. It's not going to be easy. xP I love the old art though so it'll be worth it. :) I've played Subeta on and off for 2 years, and before that I never even considered the fact that another site like Neopets might exist! xD I lived in a bubble. If you love customization, you'll love the wearables they have here. The art is so nicely done on everything. :* It's also really fun to hover over random items to see if it might be wearable. For example- if you haven't, try searching "pile of dead fish."

- Yep, I got it :D I just replied actually haha. I didn't like it on my profile because the widget was too big, but you can see a full list under Personal > Profile Comments, and go to our P2P (player to player conversation).

Ah okay thank you! It does take up a lot of space, that's for sure. I didn't realize I could turn it off but now that I know I can, that sucker needs to go byebye. Especially because I now know I can read comments elsewhere. 8)

- Yeah the profiles are very customizable :D I haven't really tried learning the widget coding stuff yet, but I know enough about HTML/CSS from years of making neo lookups, so I'm sure I'll figure it out sometime. xD What I really need to work on are my pets and their lookups! But I'd like to finish painting them first...

I just found Nargle in the pound so all my money went to painting her Scribble. xD She had to be something adorable and random.

Subeta has improved a lot over all. There are more things to do. It's easier to color your pets. You can have more than four which I think is a plus. Quest are easier to do and you don't have to deal with the annoyance of the Shop Wizard. Things actually feel like they restock in the shops, and there are so many super fun events you can participate in. You may not be able to dress your pets, but that's okay I enjoy dressing my avatar more and it gives you more of a feeling of agency in Subeta as a world. It make you feel that People and pet are coexisting instead of the world only being run by the pets themselves. I hope we can use the furniture as decorations soon. I did like the fact we could build houses on Neopets but that was about it.

I still prefer Subeta more.

Oh, Neopets' filters are ridiculous. You can hardly say a word on there without running the risk of getting in trouble over nothing.

I got a warning on Neo once for letting a friend know via neomail that my Grandmother had passed away because they asked what was wrong. x_X

Oh yes it's so pathetically ridiculous. D: It's too bad that it has to be that way over there for some reason.

Neopets in a nutshell: We have mail and boards, but how dare you talk on them!

Neopets right now: we freeze everyone who cheats and takes advantage of glitches! Unless it's the rarest item of the game then we will let the economy go poopie down potty.

What's glitching over there, anyway? How is it allowing people to get stuff unfairly? I imagine it must be pretty bad if it's messing up the game's economy.
