Haha. I think that's why the high-heel shoes exist. I mean sure they lift the buttox a bit and add some lower back curves and other such curves, but they're really there to make feet look somewhat more attractive. But then again I guess feet are more attractive than bound feet like some women did to make their feet look smaller.

/sits on you Fingers are weird. I watched a video for my anatomy class, and it kept trying to tell me that my thumb was longer than all of my fingers. Uh, no. It is not. liiiieees

My fingers look like fat little sausages, now. But when my nails are long and polished, I have beautiful long model fingers/hands.

And redoing some of your older pieces would be wonderful! And it's some psd files from a wig from someone else, that I found I had saved on a flash drive. When my computer died I lost the files you had sent me. Heh. So I understand the feeling. What gets me...I lost all my music. Could have sworn I had saved it...but turns out I didnt. Kick me. Heh

8-15 pieces a day on top of your other requests is crazy! I don't know how you manage it x.x What kind of things do you design outside of Subeta and CWs? Do you make your own hours or is it like a 9-5 job at a company? I hope I am not driving you crazy with all these questions, I've just never spoken with a full time graphic artist before. It's usually been web designers in the past.

i used to have those gorgeous high heel shoes. Black, thin, high. Beauuuutiful. If I could wear them for more than 15 mins it was an achievement though. They were so uncomfortable, I hardly understand how some women can walk around with stilettos. I'm personally more comfortable wearing either socks or ballerinas lol

(Bound feet are terrible. But women/girls didn't bind them sorely for the purpose of making them smaller. In old times, bound feet meant that you were rich enough to have servants - thus not needing to do anything yourself, not even needing to walk on your own two feet. You would get carried everywhere and literally 'not being able to walk' was a way of enforcing this luxury!)

It's always so frustrating because you can never predict when some technological device is going to just die. More often than not it's photos, songs, documents and other personal things that aren't or are hardly replaceable x.x

oh no I don't end up finishing all of those! I can sketch that much within an hour but there's atleast 2-3 that I'll throw away + a few more that i just won't finish because lack of time or motivation. I don't actually draw anything else aside from cws (well, until now! I'm finally going to practise digital art!)

It's a 9-5 fulltime position! Not exactly 'graphic designer' but I do graphic design within my job so it works too! At the moment it's a slightly different field but I'm still getting lots of relevant experience (it's not like im doing a side job that won't really help me find a job in my field later on, thank gosh!)

Eventually I would like to be a freelancer but I don't really have the... confidence to just pick up the phone and 'aggressively' look for clients. I tend to be very shy by nature so having to compete for a contract is pretty hard for me. One day though, maybe ;)

I spent the next two days trying to figure it out. My anatomy professor then came out and said that the entire video was fucking bullshit and to disregard it. Thanks dude for telling us now.

Only 2.8k with recolors. PFt. I think that is understatement. I would have figured of the 1k items that at least 3-4 recolors on each thing existed. cuddles

I understand your statement about kinda taking break and working on other arts. Maybe you could do like forum art (like the art that is on some of the forum posts) or work on maybe pet profile art and stuff like that. The pet profile art stuff would help you with animal anatomy some wink wink And I bet you are going to tackle, beat up and destroy that when you set your mind to it. And your worries about not doing animals will be a thing of the past.

oh gosh that was like THE wig to have back then haha (and then promptly lost its value after being in cash shop) but now we have so many more wigs to want!! sobs

I'm not an artist. I used to draw okay-ish but I haven't done so in a looong time. My sister is an artist though and its been wonderful to see her progress. I've seen your progress as well and I sincerely hope that with you time off of doing CWs you're able to explore more techniques as well. :)

I'm probably really weird then, cuz I totally love hands and feet. Took me awhile to get feet right, but I just love drawing them They're so interesting and fun. The hand though, is the most difficult part of the human body to draw because of how many poses it can get into. I think I read that the human body can do like... 2000 unique poses, or maybe it's more, I dunno, but it's a lot, but the hands are far more versitile because of all the individual digits. Also, fun fact- on a woman's hand, the index finger is always shorter than the ring finger. Always. The man has the index either the same length or longer than their ring. It's part of the DNA structure- rather like how men have adam's apples and women don't- or how wide men's shoulders are compared to women's- just part of the structure. Also Your thumb is indeed longer than your fingers because the first "knuckle" to the thumb is actually that joint just a few inches above the wrist, that makes your thumb 'stick out' as it were- so if you measure starting from there, yes, it is longer from the bone view; And it's the only 'digit' that can rotate- where the fingers are more limited in movement (unless you're double jointed).

Ah I didn't know that! I knew it was to make their feet smaller because smaller feet looked more beautiful because of the whole "small dainty woman" thing but I guess that makes sense that it showed status too.

I personally can't walk in high heels for too long either. Some women just grow up with it and are able to walk in high heels like all the time (even when pregnant which is weird) and some women just suffer for beauty. I could never do that. I mean maybe for one day for special occasions, but I had a pair of low kitten heels for my brother's wedding and I had to take them off after some time. Heels are sexy, I own a few of them but the most I can wear them to is like maybe one night at best but I probably complain halfway through the night that my feet hurt. LOL.

I wore a cute pair of heels to my boyfriend's graduation 4 years ago and complained the whole time afterwards because apparently we had to walk a lot and I didn't know about that, and they were only like 2-3 inch heels not that high, not stillettos or anything either, but yeah, never again. I prefer to just focus on making a pretty HA and then myself dressing casually irl. :P

If that's the case then my left hand is feminine and my right hand masculine right? (or vice versa according to online searching). :P Or just a genetic mutation which is kinda cool I guess. I kinda wanna look that up to see the difference in different people.

I used to think that all people's feet, that the second toe next to the big toe was longer- but turns out, it can be longer or just shorter- so the first is longest, then it goes down in a tilt to the pinky being the shortest. My second toe is longer, so I had no idea! lol. Ha, could be! You're a mutant! ^.~ I'm sure there are obvious exceptions, but for the general rule, female hands have longer ring fingers than index- and funny too is that the fingers also curve slightly if you look at it straight on (top or palm) you can see how the index and middle curve towards the middle of the hand, while the ring and pinky curve the other way. It's really interesting how we're built lol. And speaking of heels- I can't do heels that are higher than like an inch or so- kills my knees. They hurt even if I attempt to slide my foot into a tall heel- they hurt just thinking about it! lol.

My second toe is as long as or slightly longer than my big toe too! :D I googled a bunch of feet and a lot of them seem like the second toe is almost the same or longer but of course it's hard to tell for sure.

I mean feet and hands aren't really the most attractive body part (though to be fair again I don't think there is any one body part on it's own that looks attractive, yay lone boob or something), but I definitely can see how they're interesting. The more I look at my hands the more I notice about them that I never did in the past, so it's kinda fun to learn new things. They're just too difficult to draw. I mean also given that I don't REALLY have any artistic skill, but they just often seem awkward, but I guess they're interesting to draw once you get the hand of it (get it? I actually just typo'd it for hang and decided to not correct it)... I also went off on a tangent so yeah once you get the hang of it it gets interesting to try different things.

(especially since they both listen to streaming, now) and other's were from the library, or ... bad witchy... (remember, this was YEARS ago)... but some of it was downloaded from "one of THOSE sites" grin.

and to stick my nose in (again) to your convo with ... i used to wear stilettos all the time. at least 4/5 inches. and i could run in them. and the platform shoes... omg. i remember having some AWESOME wood and leather ones. i actually DID run in them! (thought the hub was in a car accident) heh. now. i fall off my tenney's at times. lol

hey guys! The two public recolors of the Hot Cocoa Locks were (finally!) approved! They will be unlimited for 2 days, so until january 17th morning time (I can't promise that on a sunday morning I'll be waking up at 9 just to pull the items out buuut it'll be before noon lol)
