Well I'm better today than yesterday, I'm just trying to gauge everything on the previous day. Still irritated by the swelling, I look a fool. I can't go back to work looking like this.

Yes, I'm just trying desperately to figure out how to get this swelling down, I can bs my way through pain and such but looking like a doof at work will be embarrassing.

i'm the other way about, not so bothered about looking stupid, but can't cope with pain above and beyond what i usually feel :P

not much now, going to bed soon. had my friend over today though, we watched some movies, it was a good day

Well, I deal with the public pretty much most of my day, so I don't want to have to explain myself every two seconds.

I don't care for pain above my usual threshold either but I could deal with a lot more than I'm dealing with right now.

i work with the public too, i guess it depends on the injury, usually, at least with the regulars, i try and turn stuff into a talking point, makes me look like i'm better at my job, and it gives the regulars something to talk to me about apart from how rubbish their jobs are XD

well, he arrived about 1pm and left about 9:30pm, so he was here a good long while ^^

yeah i've never been known for caring much about my looks XD i mean, i care a bit, but it's never been a huge deal for me. But i know that if it's something obvious, it can make things really uncomfortable when dealing with the public, so i still understand why you wouldn't want to.

I'm not really that torn, I go without makeup and even what makeup I do wear it's only on the eyes which a lot of females wouldn't dare do...

Yeah, I just look poofy in the face. I mean I may not be very thin but you can see this and it looks stupid.

yeah i never wear makeup at all, unless it's a special occasion and i'm dressing up. partly because i can't be bothered, and partly because my skin doesn't react too well to most makeup XD

ah well, a few more days off won't do you any harm ;)

Yea, the first time I needed to get a ticket taken care of, it took almost a week to get a response.

Eww, motion sickness is no fun. At least you're not as sore now though, and hopefully you've been able to eat something solid or close to it.

I am so glad to be finished with work until Tuesday at noon. I worked 6 days again last week and just need a break. I came home and knocked out cold for a good hour or so today, and I think it's because I was just mentally and physically drained. Super glad I get to just sit and do nothing all day tomorrow.

I don't think I'll be able to cut it, I need the money to make up for what I had to pay to have this done. shakes fists Stupid wisdom teeth!

I do think I'm going to see if they can't stick me in the back for a while...

grrr that's really sucks! sometimes i wish my work had a place that meant i could sit down to do some of the work, at least then i could return to work a bit earlier. but at the moment i can't walk two steps without help or holding onto something, so who knows when i'll be going back

Oh working in the back doesn't mean interruption or sitting so it's not that cracked up.

Meh, mostly irritated at my face being swollen. I did just do a bunch which irritated my mouth so I'm a bit more sore atm, I suppose I should see if something "non-prescription" will keep me from hurting too much. I had to call work earlier and just all that talking got me a bit more achy.

right now i am stuck in bed. have been all day. my back pain is so bad that i cant sit upright or stand, so i'm confined to bed except to go to the bathroom which takes me a good five minutes, most of which is just getting out the bed and down the the bathroom. i am in absolute agony >< tried to get an appointment to see my doctor, but you have to speak to the nurse first so she can judge if you need to be seen. apparently being in agony, unable to move, and the painkillers not giving me any relief isn't important enough. the only reason i got an appointment this week at all is because my sick line runs out on wednesday! so i am just not happy at all right now. sorry if i said any of this already today, but my brain isn't working so well because of the pain and i cant remember much

Nurrs. :/ I remember how that goes. Due to my other surgery a few months earlier though, I didn't want to take meds due to having been on such strong ones so recently and not wanting to become dependant, etc. Hopefully in the next couple days you're able to eat and talk without soreness.

I'm okay. Woke up super early today and then went back to sleep around noon for a 3 hour nap. Twas glorious.
