The site update tag (and forum) are for tiny changes that we make around the site, and bug fixes that don't warrant a news post. There are going to be a lot of single line posts pushing code that may have been written awhile ago (like this) that finally got finished up instead of just sitting there.

Thanks for the report on ghosting items, I wasn't aware that outfits didn't have the same item removal as avatars did. Will look into that :).

I guess it's useful for RP people. I like how it gives your saved avatars a whole new purpose, although I don't think I'll be using it anytime soon.

[edit] It shows me my saved avatars, but wherever OLLs expired, I see them missing pieces as they normally would, so that part doesn't seem to be an issue. I never sell anything, but I guess if I had sold I'd expect to see an error message if I tried to use that HA x: Like the one the wardrobe shows you, "you're missing ___, wear it without this?" Preferably something that doesnt eat the text you typed, though.

I actually like this feature. It gives you a chance to share more of your outfits without having to constantly rotate your HA. Also, having more saved outfit slots of GA gives it more use! :)

The role play community on here is so petite. I hope to see some events that utilizes an rp thread, ie masquerade 2013 since 2014 failed on having one. Otherwise this seems like a superficial addition when there are so many other things to fix. Like the loyalty achievement issue.

I agree...this was not at all needed right now. There are so many things that need working on instead of this being implemented at the moment. This should've been at the very bottom of the list of things to do instead of putting it ahead of areas like wardrobes and achievements...

Huh - I didn't know you could save to slots with items that you didn't own. I guess that makes sense (so you can make an avatar and slowly work toward the items) but it makes this a little more complicated.

I could make it so that items you don't own don't show up on outfits, but that would effect regular avatars as well. :|

We had to remove the prizes not because the achievements were broken, but because people were taking advantage of getting the prizes over and over again (by reimporting their achievements). We've removed the ability to do that right now - and should have the prizes back soon.

I was talking about the avatar on the forums actually changing. That's the main thing here and normally that's the part that would be broken.

...technically items you don't own shouldn't show up in regular avatars as well, I mean that's a "glitch" people actually like (makes things easier for borrowing) but I never thought it was supposed to be that way :/

I don't own any of these items but am i allowed to post with them like I do... let's see.

@ keith There's a bit of an issue I've noticed. If I keep clicking 'choose outfit' I will get another group of my outfits showing. I can keep clicking and getting row after row of them. Should the button collapse the previews when clicked a second time?

I agree with this, Georgie. I never thought of that. I'm hoping that the only HAs that are allowed are those that you have the items for as I'd be very angry and annoyed if some of my CWs that are exclusives were just used by anyone...

I think that could be a bit annoying but it's a lot better than not letting people save with items they don't own yet!

Technically longer lends shouldn't be a big issue, there are already topics where people lend CWs for another CW as collateral, so... -shrugs-

RE: this update. I won't use it, but eh whatever. If I want to show off a different avatar I change my avatar /shrug
