No, I do know what you mean. The quality of art that is used in the episodes that you would call bad is the same art animators style in Boondocks.

Maybe I haven't seen those episodes of Boondocks. I think that animation is flawless. |D
I`m done with you

Lul you're done with me? Hehe, was just stating an observation. Boondocks and Inuyasha were produced and animated in different countries. Suppose I'm derailing the thread though. Peace.
I'm reading the manga along with watching the dub. And they almost match each other nicely!
Yeah. ;; I was one of those endings that made me not so sad to finish up something. Oooh, you have to finish it! And your siggy. <3
I'm sorta banned from the library, so i'll have to watch the dub when I have time

Anime for me, since I love watching currently airing series (have pretty much watched everything I want from previous years) and following the series discussion topics on MAL. I don't like to read long manga series and since most tend to go on for 10+ volumes, I'd rather watch the series and deal with any annoyances there rather than torture myself with idiocy for one entire volume (because there are some cultural differences in manga/anime that just piss me off).
I have no preference? Depends on what I feel like and often on what was first. Because no kidding, the 'feel' of the story and the way it is told depends heavily on the medium and it often doesn't translate fully to another. Things that were anime first can rely heavily on sound, visuals, color, esp those with eccentric graphics so converting them to manga takes a lot away imo? Manga might gain something in that department when converted to anime but the price is often simplified/mutilated plot so it's not win win either.
How do you convert a horror/suspense anime to manga is beyond me anyway xD
I like both but reading really depends on how the art for the manga is done. I like them to be detailed but not cluttered. I had problems reading a few because I couldn't quite understand what happened. Later when I watch the anime I most of the time think:"Oh, that was this picture in the manga meant to show." For example: I love the art and story of Monster by Naoki Urasawa and of ALL mangas made by Masasumi Kakizaki. They are so well done. I had no problem with a single picture and looking at the art doesn't give me headaches.
i like both about the same. i used to prefer manga over anime, but it's gotten pretty equal lately.
I prefer anime, but if the anime interests me enough then I read the manga. Reading manga is just more time consuming for me than watching anime.
i prefer anime all the way. i understand why lots of people prefer mange, but i just can't get into it. the only ones i can finish without giving up are the really short ones, and even that happens rarely. manga releases also are really slow, and that really annoys me when i can't wait for the next chapter :c but i think it's the lack of visuals and specially the background music and voices what makes the difference for me. it just doesn't feel the same.
I think I like both Manga and anime pretty equally. In the beginning I mainly watched anime because I enjoyed seeing the story unfold rather than reading it, but now I don't mind it as much. Usually when I watch anime I'll go read the manga afterwards (if it interested me enough), especially if the season ends but the manga is still ongoing. It's may also be because I've watched so much anime that I've ran out of shows to watch.. so I became more open to manga.. I'm not sure. LOL.
Depends on the story and such. I usually always read the book first because i can take it with me anywhere so manga it is. I'll watch an anime if i am bored enough, or one of my friends are over. my computer loads videos really slow and i don't have a laptop, my pc is old lol

It depends on the execution and individual story for me. I preferred Death Note as manga because I thought the anime made some of the actions too theatrical and ridiculous, manga felt more intense. Naruto I like better as manga because especially pre-Shippuden the filler episodes oh just kill me now,
Comedy and slice of life like Chi's Sweet Home, Keroro Gunso or Lucky Star work much better in animation in my opinion.
Neon Genesis Evangelion I've read/seen and liked both.
So I don't think one is necessarily better than the other, it depends on what you manage to do with the media.
I like reading the manga. I feel that I can interact more with the story and really understand the characters through the development as the story progresses. There's always bound to be a risk of disappointment with an anime, like the voices of characters don't match how you imagined them (which actually bothers me to some extent), or that some of the events/characters/etc. just get changed to a point where the original story is lost (ahem, Samurai Deeper Kyo anime). Sometimes animes are made out to be much cheesier with the themes of the plot. However if a manga is too long and dragged out, I'd prefer the anime.

I like manga, because I can usually get through the story quicker than when I watch anime. Good anime series are enjoyable if I have the time; otherwise, I prefer to read manga.
It really depends, but I really enjoy reading manga in bed in the morning! It's great! So I think manga wins overall by an edge. :P
I like both of them about the same. But i've probably watch more anime, than read manga.
i prefer manga over anime. i have a nice collection of manga and have been collecting since i picked up my first inu yasha volume at age 11. these past couple years i've slowed down, but i have a hard time finding things i like to read and find it easy to find things i want to watch. anime is sometimes ruined by the voice actors or they jumble up things and make it confusing. like, the first 3 volumes of air gear are put into one episode and it confused me. also, i don't mind manga fan service usually. it's more obnoxious in color and with sound. ecchi manga i can admire, and it's more discrete. i mean, there are good animes out there, but i have so many other things i like watching instead. and i am not going to watch a 500 episode show when it takes me 20 minutes to read a novel. i can go back to it at any time and take it in at my own pace. ^_^
