Oh No! You have to grant someone else's wish before you can make your own!

why did I get this message? my friend (who is a VIP) didn't have this problem... is it because I have an ordinary ticket?

I have a VIP ticket too, but I also am told that I need to grant a wish first. If I had to make a guess, I would guess that there were a certain number of wishes that could be made right away to get the ball rolling. After the original quota was met, the required grant went into play. I wondered how anyone could make wishes in the first place if they had to grant wishes first. Chicken and Egg problem, basically, haha. I'm not actually sure what happened, but this is my guess.

From what I understand - you get one wish per day. If your wish is granted, you cannot make another wish until you have then granted a wish (or until the next day starts).

I didn't grant a wish yet, it was my first but it worked a couple of minutes ago, so now I have to cross my fingers...

I wasn't able to do it for awhile last night, but a couple hours later it let me. So lucky draw? XD

Maybe it's an algorithm of un-granted wishes to requests being made? I didn't have to grant a wish (at the time I looked, the cheapest item that was showing up on that page for me was 19m - uh, no) to wish for an item, and my comparatively low-cost wish item was granted pretty fast so I assume some users are pretty regularly donating.

Kinda unfair that some people can do wishes without granting one first

i first tried to make a wish for 100 csc and it said i needed to grant a wish first, then i tried asking for a subq invitation and it let me so maybe it has to do with the price of the wish? i don't know

I tired to make a wish last night and couldn't, but tried again today and could. I've been hearing from a lot of people they weren't allowed to at first without granting a wish, then later tried again and it worked without them granting a wish first. I figured it was just a glitch, because, you know, Subeta's glitchy.

I think it suggests to grant a wish first to open up a slot, so if you keep refreshing and wait for someone's wish to be granted (by anyone) then maybe you can make a wish.

I've never encountered this problem and I made two wishes (today's and yesterday's). I finally was able to grant two wishes today. I don't think it would work that you have to grant a wish to make a wish because that would cause too many problems with people who can't afford much, so I think it just suggests to you to grant a wish so that you free up a space for your wish to go into (but anyone granting a wish will do this).

Since I never encountered this I don't know what it says, but it's probably along the lines of "we suggest you grant a wish first" rather than "you need to grant a wish first"

Staff said at one point that the first 50 wishes were freebies, to fill the page up, and then from there you had to grant a wish to open up a slot for your own.

My sister visited the shrub for the first time today and got a message saying that she needed to grant a wish first. Right. Like she has millions to spare? Weird part was that I could make a wish right off the bat.

But then how would that work? I mean it would have to track that you granted those wishes, what if you grant all 10 wishes in one day? Would that mean you need to grant another wish before you put items in, or does that mean you're set for the remaining days? I just don't think it works that way. But maybe the admins have a better answer for this question.

I guess I'll have to wait until tonight to see how it works, since both my wishes were allowed to be entered without granting anything.

Do either you or your sister have a VIP ticket? I wonder if that makes a difference.

Basically stalk the bush (constantly refreshing) until you find a wish that is within your price range, or of an item you already own/can give. That's what I did. Granted 2 wishes, one was free because I owned the item and the other was under 4 mil.

I want a grant a wish, but I don't want to spend too much SP, yet I also want to wish as well...Is there any easy way to grant wishes for less?

It really would make sense if that was the case, because that explains why some people have the problem and other's don't. It might just be a perk that comes with having a VIP, you don't have to grant a wish before making a wish.

Those of you with this problem of having to grant a wish before making one, do you have a VIP ticket or a regular ticket? I just wanna get a poll to find out if that is the case.

Edit: Looking through the thread and it looks like people with and without VIP are having the issue, so I have no idea. There goes that theory.

- I think it's just the usual case of glitches. The ones that arrive with every event. Probably because staff keeps tweaking the shrubs, like making it so users can't wish for cws like they were earlier.

I just made a wish without granting one. But Ive been trying to grant one for around an hour now.

Maybe its just random?
