Edit: omgosh happy fingers O.o

I mean to saaaay YOU KNOW WHAT'S AWESOME ABOUT FF?! It lets you control exactly who is allowed to set cookies on your computer. Idk much about cookies except that somehow it gives me spyware and just junk files in general. Firefox is really easy to customize, and it has really great security features. I can delete whatever cookies I want and disable javascript for any site not white listed or whatever.

what does IE give you? A fucking slider. You can only delete ALL of your cookies at once. I'm pretty sure it's always manual too, and you can't set it up like firefox to do it every time you close the browser.

IE is shit. I know I sound like a bitch when I say this but I don't care. As a web designer, I say fuck people who are going to use IE. I'd rather not have them on my website then. If I can help contribute to the push that gets them to finally get the fuck off that browser, then I will gladly stop catering to them.

Same here nine. IE takes ages to load properly. Also it is almost as dangerous as Chrome... that's also a reason why Keith recommands to USE FF for Subeta. Because it's much safer and quicker.

I don't think it's difficult to switch from IE to FF, or is it? Download, install for 1 minute and it's done. So what? If you want to keep your computer 'clean' you should, like Tche said, first get rid of IE because it's like everything from Microsoft. Best thing would be to get rid of Windows in total but that's a little difficult for many people (sadly for me too because of a lot of programs I use ._.). So the first thing I do when I get a new computer: Installing FF.

: Yes I know. It allows Microsoft to take a look at your computer... but that's not good for the users, only for programmers.

Well, you can click on things.

My school has Safari, at least. And the laptops usually have FF.

I have never used IE for more then five minutes; my first web browser was Netscape Navigator. When I finally got around to downloading FF, it was like a fog was lifted~

Plus, I mean, it has a fox. How can you choose a capital 'E' over a cuddly fox (that is, admittedly, on fire)?

I really don't get why you like IE. o_o I could understand if it was your only option, but it doesn't appear that way. For myself, I'm forced with IE since I do not have the ability to change browsers, but if I did, I would switch in a second. Even if you didn't like Firefox, their are so many better alternatives to internet explorer. get out of the stone age. >:c

so that was not what you ment? xDD But yeah, there are a lot of little doors that allow Microsoft to look at your computer, sadly... especially in IE. Office is the same thing ._.

People will like what they like. Personally I run on a mac so I only use safari and firefox however, when I did have a pc laptop 9 times out of ten I used mozilla unless I had no other choice and had to use internet explorer.

There's tons of security holes in internet explorer, and the browser itself is rife with loopholes for things such as spyware, malware, things of that nature. It's why I personally stay as far away from that browser as I can because yes, the activex controls if turned on tend to be areas where spyware and malware can hide.

It's just not worth it in my opinion to use the browser, especially with all the security issues that have been attributed to it recently.

I know how easy it is to get attached to things. When I used IE I thought it was the best thing sinced sliced bread. It had its faults but I actually thought it was better than other browsers even though I hadn't even given other browsers a chance. Then my brother and I switched the Firefox and I realised what I was missing out on.

Now, when I go on IE for whatever reason it's slow and not only that, it slows down my computer as well. My anti-virus goes crazy. When I'm on IE it blocks I don't know how many viruses and warns me of harmful pages. That hardly happens on Firefox. You wanna not mess your computer up? I'd get rid of IE and switch to Firefox.

As others have stated before me, it's too much hard work that the Subeta staff don't need right now. It would take a huge chunk of their time to make it compatible with other browsers. But it would take just a second of yours to make the switch to Firefox or another browser.

I agree with all the Firefox supporters. IE is too chunky and like no one wants to do a few pages extra coding when everyone can download a safer better functioning browser in about five minutes. I actually had Firefox and Chrome, and IE8 installed and I must say, on average Firefox is about 8 seconds faster at loading than IE8 and my Flash Player wouldn't work on IE(and it did on all other browsers) and I had to download about 4 different programs to get it functioning correctly. I only go onto IE to download things but that is only for about 3 minutes a day. I agree with practically everyone here, Firefox is definetly better than IE. IE had so much malicious spyware and crap it's hard to go on a site and not find some virus to infect your computer with.

So people please, just download Firefox.

Personally, I avoid using firefox. I always feel like it goes too slow on everything I do. I use IE and Safari before it, though those always make subeta look terrible. Tbh, Subeta is the only site that gives me any probems when not in firefox.

Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, but it is annoying for AOL users to have to go to IE and then wait twenty minutes for a page to load and then not have it work. It's one of the reasons why I visit subeta a lot less during the weekday.

I agree, IE fails alot in comparison with FireFox. When I'm at my own house, I use FF to go on Subeta. But now, I'm at my moms house a few weeks, and she doesn't want FF installed, because she had a bad experience with it (dunno what, but she's a little weird with computers). It really sucks not being able to use Subeta to the fullest.

You better ask, whats not wrong with IE? every time i open it, just going to google i already got spyware on my computer. Firefox is safer, more userfriendly, easier etc and we aren't talking about personal taste anymore, it's simply the truth, firefox is way better then IE. IE is horrid to coder for, so every person less using it = awesome.

I hate using IE because it slows everything down, and I hate having to use Task Manager>End Process to get it to close when I'm done. That, and waiting a good minute for it to load up just stinks.

Firefox is for me. It loads quickly. Doesn't lag or freeze. And if I want to wrap things up, I just hit the X and it'll close. No (Not Responding) crap or anything.

Geeze, this started out as me bitching that I had to download something to my laptop in order to get Subeta to work, and its turned into an IE bash fest. You guys kinda missed the point of my complaint. :P The problem isn't Firefox, its that an outside program was required to make the site run properly. That's all.

Personally, I have no problem with Firefox-I've heard a lot of good things about it, which is why I went for it instead of Safari or Opera. I just prefer IE because its what I grew up with, and on this computer, it outperforms FF ( I will admit that FF is more fun to use. But I'm after speed, not appearance.). So please put away your pitchforks guys-I'm not attacking your browser.

I only use IE to access my music site, and one other pet site I go to (and that is just because some of the things I code on that site, only show up on IE).

Other than that firefox is far better (Actually I hate to even compare them since IE is so far out in left field)
