This really irks me. People who have their forumtext in a quote box. Seriously. What. The. Fuck. Quotes are quotes, you're confusing people, it looks even more cramped (this especially bugs me when people have the side forumtext AND the quote box) and you just look stupid. The same thing goes for the code box. Why are you doing this? Why? To be cool? To have a new background color? Stop it please. The code box is for codes and the quote box is for quotes. sakldfjwlkdfa. -rage-

I agree with you. So annoying. I often skip right past people's posts which is unfair to them (even if it's their own fault) because the one thing you want to do when posting in a forum is get people to notice you, right? If not, they should go to a friendless journal :D

most of the people doing that have really ugly looking forumtexts, imo. especially if the image isn't transparent or it's freaking huge.

I fall for those quotes all the time ^_^; Now I find myself not reading real quotes thinking they're part of a forumset.

It's too much. Sometimes I am trying to decide whether it's part of someone's post or forum set. I hate it so much. :x

I don't really like it oo. I'm always thinking it's a quote and looking for the 'real' post of the person :x It's really annoying, even more then the people who have 300px picture on the right site of their post ._.

Oh you mean people who have like, forum thing like me, but then under it have a box that says quote and it says something? If that's what you mean. I hate that to, it annoys the heck out of me, and now a lot of people seem to be doing it..

I find it confusing. I end up reading their signature line at the bottom thinking that is the post after the code box and don't understand why it doesn't make any sense in the context of the thread. Then I have to go searching around the rest of the post for the actual content of the post itself. Once I get that far I usually forget what the thread was about in the first place.

Thank you. I feel the same way about those quote boxes. I've just skipping past anyone doing that. I won't even try to read or find what they've typed.

I don't find it annoying unless it's a lot of stuff and on top of that you have forumtext images aligned to the right/left. then it's cramped... but I'm rather laid back and don't find it that bad, really.

I haven't seen it, but I imagine it could be a bit confusing.
