Seriously Poison, as one of the users who had 20 pets prior to the free slots being given out, I am really an expert on this, and /I/ remember the post vividly. Only the people that HAD 19 or 20 slots at the time were given the opportunity to have up to 22 (or 21 if they had 19 at the time) slots.

I know this is true, because there was a user that had used a mystical plushie but only had 16 slots and thought she would be entitled to the full 22 slots, but when she came around to buying the last plushie, was told this wasn't possible because she had to have had 19 or 20 pet slots prior to the free slots being given away.

We received the free slots because the prices of the plushies went down. To compensate the users that had spent the extra money prior to the price change, everyone that had bought a plushie and activated it was given two free slots. That is why. And the people who had 19 or 20 slots activated at the time were given the BONUS extra 1 or 2 petslots because there was no other way of giving them two extra slots.

But slot 21 and 22 was not supposed to be available to everyone, and I am very sure that you have managed to find a glitch in this situation.

I rlyrlyrly hope it's not a glitch for totally selfish reasons, as I would love more slots...plus Subeta would stand to make a lot of money off the plushies... But I have a feeling this wasn't meant to happen. Otherwise, there would have been a news post, don't you think?

Well Rah I'm sure Keith can come here and post since no one is willing to believe me. Seriously unhappy though that my happy brag board just became an everyone hate Poison board because they don't have 21 pets. Most brag boards get a nice congrats rather then a harsh debate. Guess that's my luck though.

I had 18 pet slots before Keith awarded the 2 extra ones. I had 20 after that. Tried to use a Mystical Montre Plushie a few days after the limit was upped and I wasn't able to. Messaged Sierra (it was before the ticket system) and she explained that I couldn't get 22 slots because I already got the 2 extra, which boosted me from 18 to 20 in the first place.

I'm willing to bet this is a bug because of the move.

LOL @ dramatics. I don't think anyone is hating on YOU, some of us are just confused (and perhaps slightly upset) that we are not able to do the same thing you did...

Uh...grats you found a glitch? Its more or less a lot of them are trying to figure out whats going on because what happened to you just doesn't seem possible unless it was a glitch. :(

So you don't feel in the slightest that it would be negative and accusatory that in capital letters to say "Benefiting from a glitch"? To me... it most certainly is. Is it really felt by the people who are posting here that I waited this long of a time until a server move to spend 160 U.S. dollars to take advantage of a glitch and then boastfully post about it? With the intent to rub everyones nose in it so they would be upset? I don't think so.

Don't you get it? That's not what it is at all. This is something that a lot of people want, and have wanted for a long time. We don't hate you because we don't have 21 pets (I have 22 already, FYI - but I have plenty of friends who have wanted the opportunity to have over 20) The most important thing to me on this site is pets, and I'm constantly harassing Keith for more slots (and he is constantly denying them to me!) so it's the one thing I've kept an eye on CONSTANTLY ever since it was possible to increase slots.

You say you can't even remember why the extra slots were given - so it's likely you were mistaken in the way you remembered how the initial part of that post was worded.

Multiple people in this thread have already tried to get the extra slots via plushies themselves and it no longer works - and these are people who HAD used plushies when the free slots were being given out. Just like you did.

Keith is busy looking into it right now because he does believe it's a glitch, and I'm actually talking to him right now.

What I want to happen from this is for the people that want to pay for those extra slots to be able to get them legitimately, and not through the results of an accidental glitch. I'm not saying you did anything wrong, but something that wasn't supposed to happen has happened, and it needs to be looked at is all.

I'm very pleased you were able to get extra pets - like I said, it's my favourite part of the site and I understand how great it is to get that many pets and develop that many characters. I love it, but it seems like right now you're the only person that has been able to do this which isn't right!

I don't necessarily think you realized that you were (most likely) benefiting from a glitch. It's not like people are jumping down your throat and saying you are going to get frozen, etc etc..

Like I said, some of us are just confused and disheartened that something we have wanted a long time was available to one person and not to us. That's not your fault, nor has anyone tried to state is was.

Rah - I really hope that all of your friends are able to get their extra pets as well. Pets are my favorite part of the site as well. Although I'm not entirely sure but I believe the date on this was prior to the server move but I could be wrong. I posted the brag board either 1 or 2 days after I actually did it. I actually chose this specific time to buy the plushies because of a post in the general forums where people had asked how much CSC you had bought. A lot of people had said they wouldn't spend a dime on CSC and I had posted that this was a great website and in tribute to it I was going to buy 2 plushies (which I obviously did) to show the users this was a site worth supporting.

Jessyta - Well I as well have have waited to be able to get this. In my mind I have been aware of the option since that news post. I sometimes read things mixed up because I have some minor dyslexia but it would be an awful shame for me to think that I was aware I was able to get this since that news post which I dunno is a year old or something.

As everyone else explained, the only way to get more than 20 pets would be if you were given the slots when we lowered the price.

Keith can you please post a link to the original post that we are all talking about? I can't find it.
