Lol... Okay than. I'm going to be a healthy disease-less, blood-covered doll-less pussy somewhere else. Good luck with your artwork!

And on that note, Jordan, I'd buy all your bracelets, finger paints, sculptures, everything for all my money. SOUNDS LIKE A DEAL TO ME.

This is getting beyond ridiculous. A doll painted in blood...ANY blood is wrong, dangerous, and just creepy. Why is it wrong for us to express our opinion about it?

I agree. Some of the things selling are just, IMO, not worth selling. Especially if they can be easily made...or are a danger to ones health. :x

...Ehh.

I don't think this was anything to get worked up about. Some of that stuff on the art market is crappy. Although some of that stuff is really adorable and worth buying.

But from my understanding VULGAR wasn't talking about your friend in a direct manner, fetus. It's nothing to get worked up about. And animal blood is disgusting and dangerous. wether you like it or not.

Just throwing some beads on some string.... not worth my time. I can do that anyday. The origami stars... I didn't mind because I fail at origami so I can't imagine being able to make one. I personally make jewelry but you'd never see it sold here. For a couple reasons:

  1. Sp is not worth the time and supplies put into each piece.

  2. The prices I have to charge for most of it is beyond what most users would be interested in paying in the first place. My most recent bracelet cost $40 in supplies and that doesn't include the hours of time put into making it.

  3. Even if users wanted to pay for it, Subeta isn't the place to try to sell. I feel wary of the younger users giving out their addresses.

Just because someone puts effort into art doesn't make it good.

Just sayin.

I have issue with the RL stuff for many reasons already mentioned. The security issue is . The "fake" Sp slots. They do get done, but they are limited, if only 1 available, and people are persuaded to use the USD slots. Just seems skeezy to me.

But even more so, RL stuff would not be so bad if it was oh I donno subeta related. Jeeze make an esty shop and call it a day to sell your stuff.

But second to the safety issue (which someone might wanna look into if subeta could be at all liable if something were to go wrong) is the I dont really wanna wade through a page of bloody voodoo dolls, kindergarten arts and crafts bracelets and other crap to find an actual artists shop.

The whole selling of rl goods is such a sticky issue, I am honestly surprised that it is allowed. What if I pay SP for something that never arrives, my postman steals it? Or what if it comes and it's broken? Will staff force people the seller to refund my SP?

I hope they just make it against the rules. :/

Yeah...I have to say, I'm not going to buy someone's bracelet when I can go to Michael's buy myself some beads and string, come home and make myself my own bracelet and not have to pay five dollars for something I could pay five dollars for and make five hundred of them or something. I'm not saying ANY of these items are ugly, but I wouldn't want to buy them myself. In my opinion, buy what floats your own boat. It isn't going to be everyones cup of tea so it varies from each person. I mean, if you like buying bracelets online because you can't get some of the items, that is awesome for you. It isn't something that everyone is going to have interest in.

Fetus, I have nothing against you nor your friend, but seriously if people don't want to buy your dolls, they don't want to buy your dolls. It isn't everyones cup of tea. People aren't going to like everything that you like, and you need to ignore these kinds of boards if they really make you upset like this. Not to mention, they are right about the rabbit blood. Rabbits can and will carry diseases and I would rather be a so called 'pussy' than have a disease thank you. What she is doing IS in fact a safety hazard, and she should include a warning before she sells that to anyone. She could make somebody seriously ill, and that isn't cool nor funny. It won't be cool if it kills someone now, will it? Not to mention, I'm not going to use your blood if you got killed by a dog. That's really not cool. Sure it's imaginative or whatever you want to call it, but that is dangerous to the buyer and anyone else near that doll.

i agree. most of the bracelets for sale, i could walk to the elementary school playground and find trashed in the bark.

and lolz @ fetus, it's the buyer's fault for buying a doll covered in rabbit blood. mk. not like anyone is going to buy that, anyway.

I'm totally going to the Dollar Tree and getting some string and beads if it can get me sum IRL dollarz. I'm fucking broke. XD;;

But no, seriously. Subeta is not the place to sell kindergarten art projects you found in a box in the attic.

I sure wouldn't buy any of that simply because I wouldn't give my address out to a complete stranger from the internet. Not to mention, I think the person selling dolls with rabbits blood on them might want to check US Postal Regulations. I think that's illegal to mail that sort of thing unless it meets specific requirements set forth by the Department of Transportation.

I always thought this rule: Do NOT attempt to sell or trade Subeta currency, items or pets for off-site currency or items, or real-life currency or items.

Covered the selling of RL items on subeta.

That refers to selling the pixelated Subeta items for real life money, not the opposite...

People have been allowed to sell art for real life money for quite some time, provided they also sell for SP.

MizAriel is right. For shipments and packaging, you are not allowed to send objects that can contain infectious substances. A biological product, such as blood, can be a pathogen that contains infectious substances. You can be prosecuted if your product- with no warning label- is found to be sent out without securing safety regulations.

The seller of the doll has no proof that the product she is selling contains a safe substance.

^This right here is a big reason I'm not in full support of doing these crafts on Subeta and shipping them out. You don't know what type of materials people have been using for their products- especially when using products with types of glues, various glosses, etc. There's really no one here to make them liable if something were to happen. They don't have to put a return address on the packages they send out and if it gets serious, they can just up and abandon their account, making it hard to get in contact with them if you have to.

She used gloves. She&;s not stupid. And stop talking shit. She can do whatever the hell she pleases.
If she decided it was necessary to her health that she use gloves to protect herself from the blood... why would she think it's a good idea to sell this filthy thing to anyone else?

Logic Fail.

That being said, I agree entirely with Vulgar on this. Being an artist myself, I have a hard time even considering buying shoddy work from someone else.

But I would like to buy another pseud-voodoo doll like my poor, dear Rupert who is now desperately lonely since his buddy sprung a leak and lost all his rice stuffing.

Still, I suppose I can ask my mum to make Rupert a girlfriend or something.
