WAT U GET

HI QUALITIE FINGER PAINT ARTS FRUM MY PARENTS BASEMENTS.

Okay I'm not actually selling finger paints so before you yell at me that this is in the wrong place, please read!

or don't read. Nobody listens to me anyways, life is a black hole :(

ok so has anyone else noticed that people are starting to sell some really odd shit over at the art market? Bracelets I that I remembered making in like grade 6 art class... scary ass dolls... why do people buy these sorts of things? If I wanted to buy something I could have produced at the age of 10 I'll just make it myself, thanks.

If you want to buy these sorts of things go ahead but that's just my opinion. THE ONLY ART I APPROVE OF US THE KEYCHAINS SOMEONE IS DOING. I AM GETTING 3 OF THEM!

One for me, and . They're going to be so pimp and we're going to be total babes with our shit attached to them! dangledangle /excited

now I'm extremely late once again, thanks subeta, you time sucker.

nods yes I noticed that some of the items for sale look very similar to the arts and crafts I do with my 4 year old - forget these child labor laws if those are actually selling we are doing much more craft time and I'm going on a cs shopping spree :P

Oh I remembered something. A while ago one user was letting her little sister (4 years old) draw pictures of giraffes and such for other users. It was really cute, and it was at the Freebies section so that's OK I think. But if that user would've actually SOLD the art I would go wtf for sure.

Well, I have to say that there are LOTS of things there that make me 'ick'. It's nice to have a wide spectrum of things people are selling, but I don't think some of those are really necessary. I don't need bracelets with food on it. I don't need voodoo dolls that look like my son made them (he's 2, btw). And I'm not going to pay $5+ for some pearls on a string like dior said.

I've seen someone a while ago making awesome pretty bracelets and necklaces with gems, but that's about the only one I've ever seen I'd maybe buy if I had the money.

But really, some things are not worth even looking at XD

I believe if that is the same person I am thinking of, she started to try and sell and we found out both "sisters" were the same person :p

Those boards always freak me out.

Not so much because 'Hi you buy my irl stuff on petsite?' But because to buy that rl crap I have to give a complete total stranger my home address.

I mean, that's just a pedo scam waiting to happen XD Or maybe i'm just old school and was supposed to forget about the whole 'don't give strangers on the internets every bit of information about you, like your full name + address' or something :|

Why are keychains any different to scary dolls or bracelets?

If people like them, they will buy them. It all comes down to personal preference.

If I were in the market for such things, I'd be more likely to buy bracelets than a keychain.

Another man's trash is another man's treasure, I guess.

Just to clear the air I did not do that finger painting in the first post!

I can't even finger paint that well :(

Because these keychains are actually hand drawn keychains. The person is an artist who draws really cute images and then laminates them and turns them into keychains?

A bracelet is a bunch of beads thrown on a string. IMO there's a big difference.

I could make an origami star bracelet or plain bead bracelet in less than 5 minutes but I'd feel like an utter money hungry douchebag trying to charge anything for them. You might as well sell your dog's poop for all the effort it took.

In regards to the kindergartener-esque manga ripoff doodles people are hawking for 300K sp, I'd rather save for a year for a 5mil piece than buy one of those.

But hey, I guess they provide a niche for people who go for quantity (omg I haz lotsa artz) compared to quality (omg I haz lotsa GOOD artz).

I understand the difference between beads and hand drawn art. :)

I'm just sayin, people are buying them. So I guess there is a market for crappy beads on string.

Just because people are buying them doesn't mean I can't think it's a dumb idea. So this little 'demand' for them can crawl under my foot and I shall stomp on it repeatedly!
