i don't like it, i wish it was lower, but it is fair

i am a cheap person but a GA medal is something that i'll never penny-pinch about if it were 15 mil, i'd still buy it the extra quests + autopricer make it all worthwhile

Jeez, I still remember when they were 2mil and such when I first started playing. I think that was an okay price. Then they jumped to 6-7mil when I took a break from the internet for 3 months. Now I only get a GA if I have a shitload of stuff to sell. But hey, I think the price is okay-ish. Just took a few weeks to adjust and I'm fine. I don't complain much these days since I'm older and now have credit cards and such. <_< Makes things so much easier. But as you all may know, prices are pretty much subject to the users. They can up the price or lower it. It's also probably cause the economy is declining and people aren't willing to spend much on an online game. We're lucky that people are still buying the GA's in the cash shop at all.

I don't mind the price. It costs real money, so people who are willing to spend the 5 dollars deserve to pick the price they are willing to part with it for.

I've only had a gold account once, when they were sold in the millionaire center. I get along fine without a gold account.

I remember the days you could get a GA for less than 2.5 Million... ;-; I think anything over 5 Million for a $5 dollar item is insane.

Keith DOES need to eat, and since the GA metals are originally bought with cash from the cash shop, cash that goes to his business to pay for things to keep the website running, I have no problem with the price. A gold account for a year is roughly the same as xbox live for a year, so the price doesn't seem unfair to me.

I think its fine, I still make more than enough off of the extra quests to afford the GA, although I wouldn't mind it being 55K/month like it was when I first started playing!

I think it is perfectly acceptable. Once I got this GA I made the 7.5mil for the next one in less than three days. Once you get over the initial hurdle of affording your first one then you can easily use the extra quests and autopricer to afford your next.

Not being online much isn't a valid excuse. It's like being a part time worker and moaning the fulltime workers earn more, you can't go into shops and ask for a half price plasma telly because you only have a paper route.

i think the whole idea of gold accounts is kind of unfair. i think everyone should have access to all the same benefits that subeta has to offer. The separation of GA users and non GA-users only serves to create a heirchy of social class in a world that ppl are supposed to be able to escape to to forget about the pains of reality (like being poor).

Not really. The Gold Account is in the Cash Shop for a reason; so people can give real money to Keith in order to keep the site going, etc.

Gold Account members aren't supposed to be just for "rich people," a lot of users (myself included) buy the Gold Account Medals with site currency. It's more fair to allow Gold Accounts to be bought with site currency then to just allow it to be bought with real life money.

People stopped using that logic quite some time ago though...

It's fair on a supply-demand basis, since the price isn't lowering. If I wanted a gold account, I'd have no qualms about spending 9 mil for a month of gold account privileges. I could earn that sP in a week (give it two to be generous) without a gold account.

It pays for itself. It's quite fair.

Creheda, it doesn't create social divisions. Unlike real life, on subeta it's pretty easy to make a decent amount of money if you do quests, item hunt, and such. It's not very hard to make 10 mil. Even if it takes newer users a month, with experience it can be lowered to a week, maybe even a day. Experience is the division in subeta. I have never spent any actual money on subeta. Yet, I used to have a gold account. Basically; anybody can get a gold account. There is no discrimination in this.

To be honest, I don't really see why people make a fuss about this - if they were put back into the Millionaire Centre at the reduced price, there would be little point of them being in the cash shop at their price - the price that they've been ever since I joined the site. I don't think the price is going to fall soon as the price of CSC has been pretty consistent recently. You don't need a GA to survive at all. I haven't had one, personally, in over a year, and am doing just fine.
