this. it's completely fair to me, especially since I live in Canada and the exchange rates between CAD and USD atm are ridiculous.

Agreed. It's totally fair. I always buy mine with real money because I want to save my sP for other things. :P

I think it's fair. It's not that hard to make over 7 million in a week, some can even do it in a day.

When it's no longer fair priced, people will stop buying them at that particular price altogether.

I think they are overpriced right now. I'd like to see them go in the millionare shop again for 700k again for a bit to see the prices drop slightly. The dollar to SP ratio seems to always have been 1 million per dollar so it seems nicer if it would go back down to 5 mill.

Then again I'm not one to complain ;) It's not like it isn't worth it no matter what the price. I do completely agree though that if a person purchases with their own money they should be able to sell for whatever price they choose :)

The going price is the fair price. I may not personally want to spend that much sP on a GA, but that's my problem and my choice. It sucks for me, but then I still have the option to use my sP instead of having to convert Canadian dollars to American, then buy credits in the Cash Shop while being a freshly-graduated, unemployed bum :P

If I had my wish they would be cheaper, but like others have said before me I really don't have any right to expect a user who paid real money on a virtual item to slash their profit for my convenience.

The 700k price for a GA is not current with inflation. Because of the ease of making sP and the amount in the economy, prices will never be that low.

Oh I don't think they should always be worth 700k. Just for a bit like Keith has done in the past and it lowered the prices overall a bit. Like I said my personal opinion is that 1 million per dollar has always seemed to be norm so that's what I would consider fair.

Then again on items that are worth a significant amount of money like the plushies they get buy with charging quite a bit more because not many people donate that much to subeta.

Totally fair. Why? Because when I buy them and sell them on, I get more money : D And anyway, the USD price is still the same. What I find wrong is the exchange rates. Used to cost me £2.50 for a GA, now it costs £3.60 - or something along those lines.

[edit]

It actually costs £3.23 GBP at present.

I'm tired of those complains and here's my opinion.

I think 6.5 or 8.5mil isn't that much of a difference. I'd say average user will make 30mil in the month(MINIMUM), 1mil per day or at least that is what the "how much sp do you make everyday" thread says. And I believe a lot more can be done, just by doing wiz, saggi, item hunt quests and vending a small 1k token. So what the kumos do you care if your profit in the month is 40.4 or 42.3 mil. you won't even see the difference. srsly.

By the way you have to take in consideration that real life economy isn't going well. Means less people buying GAs for $$ and still the same amount of people buying. When Demand stays the same and supply is reduced, prices grow.

I think it's overpriced. Last time it was high, they put it in the MC so it could deflate. I always thought 4 mill was a reasonable price for a 1 month GA.

If I could use the CS I would probably not be complaining.

They can't put it in the MC again. Not now. There currently isn't much people buying them from CS, there would be even less if they put them in the MC. Not going to happen

Ah yes I remember the days when it was only 700,000 sps. But I don't mind helping to support the site by buying the GAs :)

I think it's a fair price.

I bought it a couple months ago for more than what it's worth now, but I don't really have a problem with it. I enjoyed having a GA and it was only about half of my sP.

Coming from Gaia, I personally find the sP to USD ratio to be really low. I was so surprised that CS items were going so cheap!

They seem pretty fair to me considering the benefits that come with a gold account. Think about it, the number of pets allowed is increased by five (from five to ten). If you were to increase one pet slot you'd have to buy a mystical montre plushie. That alone goes for 4000 credits, the equivalent of $40.00 while a GA medal goes for only $5.00. Also, you're allowed extra quests which make quite a bit of sP and you can autoprice your shop. When I had a GA, I made about 1 mill sP a day just from the autoprice feature. Think about it, 8 days, 8 mill, and you've already made the sP you've spent on the GA medal back =)

I think it's reasonable. I usually buy mine, but, like it's been said. If you buy it with sp you usually make it back with the shops, and quests.

It looks only to be around overpriced by about 1 mil.

You can easily make the cost of it using the extra quests and Autopricer.

QFT.

I buy mine with real money that I earn at my own job, that $5 could go to something else, but I gladly buy stuff on Subeta with it. If I'm gonna sell it, I'm gonna want a nice wad of sP for it. The price fluctuates anyway, as 99% of things on Subeta do.

So I think it's fair, and I've spent the 7mil on a GA before I could buy them with real money. If you want it bad enough, you'll buy it.
