I agree with Hades - no one owns the right to a certain character's tribute wears just because they made it first. c: As long as it's different from the other tribute, it shouldn't matter.

I don't know ^^; I'm mostly wondering what people will offer.

I dropped hamlet another smail - here's to hoping he'll change his mind and be ok with me commissioning Loki clothing items. I may do the overcoat, but also private like his was, knowing that one of his is highly coveted, I can perhaps keep up the pace with making mine private as well, but I don't know how he'll respond to that idea. I'm overly sensitive and cautious about stepping on toes and offending anyone. I'm cautious to a fault sometimes, and I HATE confrontations and I HATE when I make someone mad when my intentions were NOT to make someone mad.... then the guilt sets in and it all goes downhill from there!

I do have the Frozen Chest of Ancient Giants that I commissioned from mail - it's a semi private item, meaning it's open to the public but I specifically had asked them not to resell it, unless it's back to me or someone I know who wants the item but never got a slot.

After I hear from Hamlet after this last smail I sent him (actually a comment, his inbox is full!! eep!) so I'll tell him at that time that I am going to do this. If I lose his friendship, then I don't know what to say, it would be selfish. NOT CALLING HIM SELFISH, not in any way, and I hope he would have a level head enough to not unfriend me over this. sigh confrontations, I HATE THEM!!!

Perhaps I could have the Loki overcoat be designed more around Avengers than in Thor - with that gold strap that goes in front of his chest that connects from the overcoat to the tunic.... but I also have to keep in mind the 4 changes needed to make it an approvable tribute item.

I'm glad you're reconsidering it...because I don't think it's right someone holding one back, friend or not. I mean, I have nothing against people who ask for items back if they no longer are in use. I do that as well with my private wears. But to ask someone not to submit something because they feel they have a claim on a fandom is a bit wtf.

Also; I was talking to some friends on this and apparently more loki stuff has been commissioned from what I understand, so there will be more on site at some point anyway. If they unfriend you over this, I hate to say that they probably aren't a great friend. I don't personally know them, but they seemed decent from what I had seen. So hopefully that won't be the case. I'm sure there are plenty designs of his to choose from via comics, tv shows, and the movie/movies since there's another coming out? Maybe if he has new clothing in the new one you could design it from that.

I would rather wait and see if I get any other offers ^_^

as a matter of fact Loki has a new design helmet in Thor TDW - I think I'll commish that.
