Presents! Haha no but honestly, not just receiving them, but giving them. Christmas to me is the one time of year faith in humanity is restored for me, so seeing the smiles on people's faces makes me think that the whole year was not wasted, whether that is true or not. This is my first luminaire on subeta; it's the most wonderful time of the year :)

I think my favourite part of the holiday is getting to spend time with friends and family, also just getting the family all together to share a meal, pass around gifts, tell stories and share our memories...It's also a great time to see all the family that we don't get to see often... ♥ ^_^

My favourite thing about the winter holidays is all the homemade sweets! I love to bake and eat all the warm goodies on a cold, snowy day!

My favorite thing about Lumi and the whole month of December is everyone finds the good in someone. No matter how different we are we all stop to come together and spread happiness and cheer. We talk to people we never would have and find ourselves letting the grouch in us disappear and secretly sneaking gifts under anyones trees. The anons come out to spread cheerful words or poetry and the lights and smells are wonderful.

- My favorite thing about Christmas ( other than the true reason for the season of course ❤️ ) is a bit different from everyone else's I think :) My husband and I have been married for almost 12 years. We both came from divorced homes, so instead of celebrating a huge family Christmas on Christmas Day, we do something smaller with his family on Christmas Day and spend Christmas Eve with each other and that's our huge holiday - snuggling up, watching movies for most of the day, exchanging gifts, and just being with one another. It's my favorite thing about Christmas because despite the way he and I both grew up on opposite sides of the country, we've managed to figure out our own traditions and stray away from what we had to deal with a long time ago. :) I sure hope that my reason makes sense!

Also, I'm tossing a gift under your tree and (amount of stuff I have to give permitting) under the trees of the users that wrote reasons I love in here too. Sharing is caring :)

Actually, my very most favorite thing about this wonderful time of year is getting to look at all the cool things I'm getting for other people, and then getting to give them away! It's all the fun of shopping, with none of the guilt. :P But most importantly, I just love to make other people happy whenever I can, so seeing someone's face light up when they get something that I've chosen specifically for them is really truly special to me. In that same vein, if at all possible, I would prefer to not be entered into your contest. Everyone is so generous, and I'd like to ask for just a little more generosity from you and if you could please give my entry to Tiruen, who is someone who I just downright couldn't live without. I can't afford to get him many gifts in the real world this year, so I am doing my best to make his Lumineve one to remember by enlisting the help of you generous folks on the giveaway forum! If you do give him something, please send a ping or a PM my way and I will be happy to do a sketch of anything you would like, free of charge! What I love about Luminaire/Christmas? EVERYTHING. The carols and the tree and decorations and decorating the tree and the house and lights to wrap around the balcony and the catchy carols and all the Christmas songs and planning gifts, wrapping gifts and giving gifts and recieving gifts and snow if there's any and Melody's Cottage and the Christmas Eve dinner and family and fairytales on TV and asdfghjkl I 'm such a Buddy The Elf when it comes to Christmas :D

Actually I don't celebrate the real holidays for some reasons, but I love Subeta's events and Luminaire is one of my favorites, we get a lot of things but we also are able to give away things to everyone, not only friends but to other users we don't even know. People turns very generous and share their items with others, I've always heard that there's more happiness in giving than in receiving! I'm very happy I opened a giveaway thread too, I gift users daily and give them a chance of winning expensive items - they thank me and are really happy about what I've been doing, that warms my heart you know :). I hope you get a lot of items under your tree too, thank you so much for doing this ^_^!!

For me? The sights and smells of winter, cold snowy air smells so good, and the glitter of freshly fallen snow is delightful. I especially love watching ice sickles grow bigger and bigger over the days. Also the food, Christmas eve and Christmas food is great. I also really love the the web site events that happen, especially Subeta! I also love GIVING things to people, because I like to see other people happy. Me and my friends always get together a few days after Christmas to party and have good times. I always look forward to that too.

My favourite thing about Lumi is that it brings out the best in the users of Subeta. I mean, almost everyone is really nice when it's not Lumi, and when it IS Lumi, the niceness just goes up by 200%. XD My favourite thing about Christmas is definitely the food! :D Also Christmas lights, and candles.

My most favorite thing about the holiday is being together with the whole family. All though the year we see each other a lot, but never at the same time, because everyone has to work or has other important things to do they can't cancel. But with the holidays everyone makes sure they are free from work and everyone comes over to celebrate. It's the one time in the year the whole family is together. We always play games, eat a lot of food together, talk about the past year and of course about the year to come, watch movies and we decorate our christmas tree together.

My favorite thing about luminaire is the gifting under the tree and the surprises about what everyone received.

Hmmmm...I think that Lumi is a really great time to look back on the year and appreciate everything that has transpired. This year I am really thankful to have made so many friends on Subeta and in life. I am really thankful to be in a great relationship with a great guy. I love being able to gift everyone. I am super excited to have worked with some amazing artists to release some great CWs this year. Specifically what I am thankful for during Lumi is Mysterious Melody and all of the active boards. This is really a social holiday and I love how active everyone is--coming on and seeing 1000+ users almost all time. This must seem like the most disorganized, rambley post but it is totally too early in the morning to think clearly :P

- My sister kind of covered part of my post: our Granny. She was a wonderful woman, and I miss her a lot. Christmas really isn't the same without her here. Christmas this year is a bit painful for me; I recently went through a break up, and my boyfriend was going to come visit me for the holiday. I was looking forward to it, but personal matters had to be addressed and he won't be visiting anymore. Despite this I'm trying to keep a light heart this Christmas. I'm excited, because part of my joy of Christmas is getting/giving presents, good food, and just enjoying ourselves. This year I might even get to see snow! If I do, I'm going to do a snowman and no one is stopping me.

As for Lumi...strangely I'm not as enthusiastic about it. I love getting things for people and making their day, and at the end when I can open my presents, I do get pretty excited. But for me on here its a bit lonely. I don't have very many friends, despite my efforts to make them. Usually I get on to play games or play around with my HA. Lately, though, I've been able to talk to some people. And my lumi-gift list was pretty big, for me at least. So I'm actually kind of excited. :)

I don't like winter and the only good thing about it is Christmas. You give and get presents and the whole family comes together! :3 I love to see the faces of my friends when they open their presents! Also there are a lot of people that are suddenly in much better mood then usually.

On Subeta, I'd say it's a toss-up between opening your gifts on Luminaire Day and Mysterious Melody. ^^ Both are so exciting and fun! Offline, I love spending time with family I don't see super often because of college, distance, etc. Love that it brings us all together.
