Long day for me, wasn't on Subeta much at all. Suppose that's a good thing? But it's late now and I need to prioritize on quests. So skipping Drills and going to Shinwa. Let's see how far I get! :D

Well apparently the last try to wake him up worked - the guy went and knocked on his bedroom window/wall by his room from the outside and that got him up. But neither of them told ME he got up. So the appraisal is done. I called the guy this afternoon to let him know I was on my way home and if he was still willing to come, it would be great, any time..... And he was like, oooooh your son didn't tell you? I got him up that last time, and he let me in. Well thank goodness! BUT STILL no. Nathan didn't bother to listen to my voicemail. Guess I should have texted him. I saw on the camera he was outside an hour after the guy left, but I had no idea he'd let him inside!!!

Anyone have any idea how long appraisal results take to get back? LOL

I have no idea! I hope it's fast, fingers crossed :D

Also damn, teenagers and their communication skills... well at least Nathan got it done, eventually, that's something!

Mee tooooo The lady at the bank said if the appraisal went well we should be able to close by the end of April. So I'm assuming within a week or two, since other things will need to be scheduled, such as a closing date to sign all the papers. And who knows what else. I don't :P Ryan was the only one involved when we got this house in the first place, I was in FL with the kids and he was up here doing all that.

Nathan said all he did inside was come in and snap pictures. SO that at least means he didn't walk into the rooms and FEEL that the floor was unlevel hahahaha!! I know I really need to get it fixed, but I just can't afford that at this point in time, but I am hoping to in the next few years.

Yes!! I am glad it is done. Online says 3-10 business days for results. Hopefully sooner than later. I would love for one thing to be settled and moving forward. Still waiting on formal acceptance for job. Have unoffical acceptance, but you know, all that nonsense with the application put everything behind there - he sent out a "next years teaching positions" informational email with my name off it completely because I'll be a "new hire" and he stated he's waiting for board approval and a few more interviews before announcing those. :/ I understand, but its frustrating, waiting. I'll live, but ugh. LOL Same with the mortgage. Ugh! Waiting. Waiting on that report, waiting to see if they need anything else, waiting for a closing date crosses fingers to sign everything and finalize it!! Waiting for grades, waiting for graduation.... Waiting for a wedding too at this point, as everything is ready to go for that, just gotta get the car and go!

No workbench for me, I just work on the ground hahaha. I'm trying to kill the grass around my roses with paving stones right now. Then I'll yank it all up, put down some potting soil, and cover it with the weed fabric and buy some river rocks and a border to keep it in the area. As for Easter - well as I said, lunch is the main plan. I did pick up some candy/snacks for the boys. And I have those confetti eggs from a year or two ago and told the boys they need to throw them at each other. Shane said "and at you" :P I said I'll be taking pictures LOL

Working through Kumos quests and absolutely shocked at this kaftan suddenly being over a million in user shops :D And in a fashion quest too! Never seen something that dramatic there.

Yeah. Some items are getting pricey again. I had to quit ALL of Saggi (kumos) quests the other day, and I've been quitting more Library, Rumi and Saggi again than I have been for a while. :/

Its my porch or yard. If its the yard, there is no worry about a mess hahah and for porch I can just sweep it off into the yard :P Now once in a while I might do something in the house on the table. But thats usually my christmas cactus and thats not very often.

The whole school got an email today welcoming me and a new first grade teacher - so now its out and known - I am unofficially official LOL (I still have to sign the contract and whatever with HR and get my teaching certifiicate after I graduate).

It is exciting. It means I can now actually TALK to people about it hahahah Instead of going "I'm waiting to hear back" when I already knew the spot was mine.... now my mind is wandering to .... what will be in the room? what will the teacher leave, what might I need to buy?....(she's retiring, she may leave it all, or she may take a TON of stuff, who knows!!) - or do I just want to buy my own new display stuff - like posters, calendar stuff etc for the upcoming year?

You can't plant a christmas cactus in the ground. It'd die! :P (well honestly, who knows. maybe you can. I never would though!) I have a big plastic storage box on the porch that most of that type of stuff goes in....(gloves, small shovels, etc)

I don't have houseplants, Kelly just.. eats them. Or knocks them over.

Lily has a bunch in her room, though :P

Yeah, probably so. I've just seen so many varied responses to teachers leaving (leaving the school for another one, leaving one grade level to another, retiring). Some get rid of everything, others take stuff home, some store it or drag it along...so I just wonder what will be left behind....I even wonder if I'll have to clean stuff out and get rid of it. Who knows!! :P

Nathan has dead plants in his room. Succulents. Like....how do you kill something that requires very little water or sunlight? :P And then he just .... leaves them sitting there. Dead. At least go dump the pots out?? :P

My cats haven't ever bothered my plants. Funny how some will and some won't.

Oh I definitely would love the option of planting things in the ground. But there's no ground for me! I once knew someone who had the most amazing vegetable and berries garden set up in their backyard. I still think about that wistfully sometimes. I wish that was me. Maybe one day!

Thanks!! Yes! One less thing to wait for ... sort of hahah. At least its OUT there now...just waiting on the documents/graduation now. I assume someone will tell me what I need to do for that soon... I know I can't get the certification until I graduate and my degree is posted and I send my transcript to the PSC (as directed by the college)....but I will probably need to send something to the HR office as well, and like I said, sign a contract or something too. But when? I dunno! :P (now? after graduation? after getting certification?)

I tried gardening. We got a few things to grow a couple of years. Lettuce was decent. Radishes - Ryan enjoyed but they were sharp. Tomatoes did ok. Everything else rotted or tasted bad or didn't grow. Carrots grew but were small and wonky LOL I gave up! :P Maybe one day I'll have the patience, time, and money to try again.

[edit] 545pm Oooh ya'll. I just saw my email. At like 220 this afternoon I got the appraisal report!! So the bank has it already too. That was a FAST turnaround!! - What, a little more than 24 hours??!!! I read over it (41 pages!! Most of it irrelevant to me hahah (like, licensing procedures and how they compare stuff etc). As far as I could tell, he reported it all good - some "minor" things, due to normal wear and tear. C4 level, out of 6 levels. Not terrible, but not great. - It IS a 23 year old house after all.

"C4 The improvements feature some minor deferred maintenance and physical deterioration due to normal wear and tear. The dwelling has been adequately maintained and requires only minimal repairs to building components/mechanical systems and cosmetic repairs. All major building components have been adequately maintained and are functionally adequate."

I printed off the 11 pages that seemed most relevant to ME for my own record keeping. (i'll keep the zipfile, but I like printed stuff)

I have lately spent most of my time on subeta.net, so I suppose this feels... natural, it's still a bit of a whiplash in my brain since I expected the "move everything to Kumos" to come still. But lately I've been mostly using Kumos links for the garden and of course the quests. Kumos features should be moved over to subeta.net so we are not supposed to lose out on anything. I wonder if the progressive quest rewards are coming to subeta.net too? I was very excited about trying those out, and I remember so were you, Kat!
