Just tried the new wizard quests & don't like the way it is set up. Prizes were great but the white page with stuff scattered around is distracting, annoying & rather ugly. Going back to the good wizard quests now.

Saggi: User shop price 73k, reward 63k ... just saying... Wizard today 19k (2nd level) - he keeps shifting his payout around between 10/20/30k - depending on with which foot he gets up in the morning first?
This is day 2 of me trying quests.
my current issue is that I get a 404 error when I try to go to the quest shop, and I cannot remove items from my vault
Pete, you need to lay off them gummy lungs, my man. Ain't good for you. Blueberry Gummy Lungs, White Chocolate Bar and blueberry fruit chews still bugging on Pete, you click on the NPC shop option and instead of buying it, it takes you to the shop.
Mauve kinda was not worth it, think I actually lost a little sp (not much) but I did em anyway because now I want reputation points. I may have a small completion compulsion.
Got a 404 for Rumi on Angry Smiley Sticker and I Heart Brown Sticker but did NOT get any of that other error so yay for that! Also, reputation counter is working again.
No problems with Maybel, Wiz, Maleria or Saggi this go. Did reach max for Maybel (and wiz, like days ago). Profits are way down, only cleared about 600k total for all of them (had been doing a mil or better, combined), but that is before I sell the stuff so it'll probably edge a bit more.
Maybe shrink up the space on the quest page a weeee bit? Even zoomed out pretty far and I still gotta scroll down to hit complete. Which I should not do anyway because my eyesight is pretty poor. Or maybe move the complete/give up buttons? Just a small suggestion, not a big deal really.
Side note: that weird thing with the upper drop downs seems to be fixed, so thank you!
Everything went okay for me so far!
Quest payouts suuuucked tonight. Mauve and Saggi were the worst offenders because everything they ask for costs at least 50k each and now they never pay enough to cover all the items. I skipped all but one of Mauve's but one time I was able to get everything pretty cheap so I went for it and I wish I hadn't because I still lost. Even Rumi ripped me off tonight. The rewards mostly seem to be based on NPC shop price, I guess? But I rarely get to buy ALL of the requested items at the NPC shop price, and even IF I managed it, I'd make more sP by putting them in my shop than turning them in. I know you can't simply base the reward on usershop price either because then we get that crazy inflation. But quests work fine on the legacy site somehow... whatever's working there needs to be applied to Kumos.
I only made 606,527sP from all the quests tonight. Hardly worth the trouble. :(
maleria pay out was better than saggi and mauve, but yeah agree with that it doesnt seem all that worth to do quests. rumi, saggi and mauve left us in deficit we do quests to get sp to buy csc, as the USD is very strong against our currency, so we're reliant on user shop prices which can run pretty steep
In the early days quests just gave out sP and items. When quest points were added they were a wonderful bonus because we could buy things from the Quest Shops without using sP.
One very valuable aspect of Quest Points is that players can buy books without spending sP. Battlers wanting to use scrolls need their pets to have Alchemy Points. If you use books for this it's 16 books for one AP. If you use Tomes these cost a lot of sP but they do give intelligence points so you get one AP if every 16th intelligence point is a book. People new to battling will be at a terrible disadvantage if they have to buy every single book with sP even if the Kumos quest payouts do end up being more profitable than the legacy ones.
Another use for intelligence is pet jobs because many of them need a lot of intelligence points. Many people get their pets jobs because they suit their pets' characters. Quest Points mean that players don't have to spend months earning enough sP to buy all the books they need for the pet job they want because they can use Quest Points for books.
Why can't we have the Quest Point system transferred to the Kumos quests?
I just came across this due to inactivity in the recent months and told myself to try it. I just did Runway Ready quests and was asked to bring an unbuyable item . Apart from that I don't know what to think of the new system yet. I need to give it more time.

Sticker quest is currently stuck at 3/5 for me and it lets me keep doing the quest without it decreasing.
Looking for:
Wow Mayble gave me 55k overall. Even Cynthia on here with a GA overall with 15 quest would probably give me more. That was disgusting and discouraging... I got 700kish on Kumos compared to the about 4mil I make on legacy that's laughable...

I managed to do 3 Runway Ready quests without losing any sP. Did all the Decorative Weapons quests which were OK. Then did all the Wizard quests and dicovered that the sP payout is lower than it was before. The only reason to carry on doing them is the items and extra Wizard Tokens.
I agree with you on the quests. But even the wizard tokens don't feel like much of a reward if we look at them on their own. (Not counting that we can do them on legacy too) Like 150 for a regular account which is like nothing and 250 for a GA which is still 100 less than on legacy. Its just discouraging...

As you said, 45 pages of feed back is a alot and I didn't read through all of it myself.
But I am glad to see Keith post that he is working on things.
I am in agreement with those fussing about the payouts. When I first started doing these kumos quests, I was making around 1mil, the wiz tokens and getting 50-60 mostly cheap items. Mauve came along and increased the sP payout to 1.5mil (ish). Now I'm back down to under 1mil per day. (I also find it funny that Mauve was paying more than Saggi? Where did he get the money from! But now he really isn't and neither is giving good sP profit) As others have said, on the legacy site, I earn 3-5mil a day easy. AND I get 100 items to sell or frag.
Can't wait to see the improvements as time goes on.
I just meant they are only worth doing at the moment while quests are being tested because they are extra to the ones we are still getting doing legacy quests. I hope we will get payouts and tokens equal to or better than the legacy quests when the site eventually moves over to the new system.
As I said, Wizard's rewards are a mystery to me - up and down just as he pleases. Maybe there's days, when he is exceptionally annoyed he's getting veggies from us instead of underwear and that's when we don't get the better payout.
How can you justify having Mauve ask for a 10 Mil. sP item? There is no way to recoup that much! This is supposed to be fun! Congratulations, you just made it extremely stressful.
Wizard lost sP on 3/5
Rumi lost sP on 1/5
Saggi lost 50k on a quest bc he asked for the same 1/day item, made a total profit of only 66k
Runway Lost 10k overall. Had to skip 3/5 quests.
Maleria Made 223.5sP - her costs and prizes are very stable!
Maybel made 21k total - her costs and prizes do seem stable, just low
I'll make myself do Pete after coffee. He asks for 4 items and gives tiny profits so I don't like doing his lol.
Currently, there's little point in doing most of the quests on kumos for me (except data collection for staff). I lose money or skip most things.
Quests are the primary way users make sP, and if they get nerfed I don't know how the community and economy will continue to function. I know it's a work in progress and assume it's all going to work out great in the end, sometimes the journey is bumpy! I am so glad we still have legacy in the meantime. I'm sharing this feedback both for data collection and because quests feel extremely important to me. Subeta needs to live 5ever <3
I think I lost the plot lol. I'm not sure what is causing all these complications with prizes. Complicated code stuff would be my guess lol. I totally get some of the changes - adding quest givers for variety (fun!), swapping to a reputation system for special QP items, adding the quest bar at the top to smooth some mechanics (heck yeah, this is great), having the Wizard hand out books as prizes (omg give me all the books and mass reading lolz) - but the quests on legacy work great as is. Is there a reason the framework for them isn't able to be applied in the same way over at Kumos?
Also, is it possible to have the history show what you spent on the quest? ATM you have to click the hover and see the avg cost, which changes over time so it may muddle "history" if we're looking back at profits or something.
