I don't go past 25 for this version (tome drop). It drops mods later but they aren't the best kind. Jess's guide with loot is on the previous page if you want to see.

Yeah, I also wish they were released during holidays. Since most of the currency holidays reward page loads or interaction, it easier to get those if you are also doing a task like battling. I made my own tasks by battling and reading to new adopted pets but I would rather be fighting the holiday challengers.

Same here, that's why I'm a little sad that we didn't get them during the holiday itself (I did the same thing Cara, just RS'ed at Book Nook and read a bunch of books). The longer we continue to not get them, the more I worry about it running over into Masquerade and delaying those guys too. Or they simply don't give us them at all despite being told we'd get them. =/
