Oh yes I do wear sunglasses, but it's not the brightness that causes it - it is the flickering. So even if the light is faint, if it flickers it makes the nausea and pain happen. I love your thoughtful ideas!! :D LOL Yea the trade off was not fun! lol But I do still rarely get sick.

I totally understand that. It's so valuable, the love our pups give us. <3 I adopted my two dogs and one was a find off the street. The one off the street is my special cute boy. He has Lupus but I care for him so his symptoms are very few. I am sorry to hear about your sister, that is really hard. :-( my sister and I are the same age so for now she is still here with me. For me, when my allergies were at the worst. Being out in bright sunlight was actually painful to my eyes, so I had to wear hats with brims and sunglasses. Gosh flickering lights, I would never be outside at night especially any roads or streets.

Thanks! My sisters and I are very close. My grandma was a twin, it was cool they did things that were similar. So I can imagine how close your sister is with you. My grandma and her sister did things the same without telling each other, once they bought a car same color, and model. You would think they went car shopping together.

oh WOW i dint kjnow how crazy your migraines were!my daughter had hers since third grade and have gotten worse. to the point of self injections and neck nerve ablasions done by her neurologist. she has the hemiplegic migraines, a rare type of migraine that causes a headache and weakness on one side of the body also clled ministrokes. it affect even the throat and tongue arm and leg hands eyes etc.!...the lights you mentions..she cant be in a store long or wath video games etc. she is able to watch moies..if she does something outdoors like her jewelry "marts""hows..she must have help with hjer for when they strt. she can go nowhere alone. this sworld is made of lights nd can you even drive at night? i bet not huh! Has your neir mentioned botix in the scalp>i a so sorry they affect you so greaty now, Sound like yours have gotten worse with time.Is there a history of migaines in your family as it could happen too. Greatly sorry this is happenening to you!!

Yea, I have to leave my eyes shut at night - there are waaaaay too many lights on. I do not watch tv or anything either. :/ Thank you for the thoughts. I actually appreciate it a lot and talking about it and being supportive. <3 Yes, they call it Collie nose, but it is Lupus. He is the best. <3 lol but I am biased. lol

I am so sorry to hear about our daughter's migraines - that is terrible! :-( I cannot g anywhere at night. I do not drive anymore, though technically I can if the car has no LED lighting. I do not go inside any store, or view any screen or I will throw up. So my husband and family or friends always do all the shopping or inside building things. If I have to go inside a building I have to keep y eyes shut to keep the flickering light out. Or I will throw up and get even more severe pain. Yes, thank you for the helpful ideas. I have not tried botox because the dr said it would likely not help for my specific problem. W tried a lot of other medications but I had to stop taking it all so I could try to get pregnant. No migraine treatments are approves for conception or pregnancy. :/

Both of my parents have migraines. My mom has the same type I do but her trigger is different and she has them only 1 time a year.

So far my migraine-self has been stable for the past 10 years or so - which is great. I have not gotten much worse but also have not gotten any better. I am just grateful my sister found this computer which is a ultra-sensitive care non-flickering computer. it still makes me a bit sick so I only use it for a few hours a day, spread over the whole day. I rest a lot from viewing it.

yes ..your life gets very stringetly confined. Anna can't drive alone at all..o at all. you would think by now there would be help out there more destinct than they are making so far.Anna is looking for a hemiplegic migraine secialist and found one in washingto state thus far.

But you can do handy work and listen to programs. I listen to audiobooks you can get through the public library. I having hearing aids, to so I can listen to an audio book any time I want through my cellphone. My hearing aids can work through my cell for the audiobooks and calls. My allergies were at its worse, I had migraine 4-5 times a week. Thankfully being referred to an allergist changed all that. I still get sinus headaches, if there is a change of weather I know its coming.

I just like big dogs, none of them intimidate me even if they stand up to my hip level. Not really saying much since I am barely 5'1 1/2". My pups are now up to my knees, they are tall boys. They will be a year in November. If they jump up on me, they can touch my shoulders.

My Mom said, her and her cousins couldn't tell their Mom apart if they weren't looking they sounded the same. Their identical twins, but their facial expressions give them away. My grandma the serious one, and her sister the smiling bubbly happy one. Weird that my Mom nor my sisters and I didn't have twins. Although one summer, us three older sisters as teenagers sounded that exact same. It was a fun summer, messing with everyone in the family. Drove our parents crazy.

Bloody Hell!

Mine goofed on the classes mine signed up for. It seems mine already took Automotive Electronics, last fall. AND mine somehow signed up for two separate classes. Which means mine will have to drop the two redundancies, look up mine degree plan to see what mine have left to take, and see if any openings are available before the nest week of class begins. Tiwsday may be the nest time to make this change, and mine can ask to use the cousin's connection to try.

Off mine go to the wash tubbs!
