- He did. He lost all his weekends and most of his holiday vacations (this happened in October) to get caught up. He was horrified that I caught him and really leaned into the work, though. From that point up until his graduation 2 years ago he hated having days off for no reason. I think I scared some kind of work ethic into him. XD 😂

- I ditched the book I was struggling with and got a copy of Crave free from Audible. Apparently the whole series (6 books!) is free until the end of the month. I'm allmost done with it. It's a cute YA novel although it alludes to way too much stuff in the first 3/4 of it. I'm reading the last 1/4 in a few moments, and looking forward to the next installment in the series. Thanks for the reccomendation! ❤ :D

I really loved it, I do wish it was more adult than YA but what can ya do lol Right now I'm reading a 3 book series from Sarah Hawley, it's spicyyyyy but they are kinda just like normal romances? But they are fantasy romances with demons and witches and all that. I love them but they are definitely kinda predictable. But that has never bothered me one bit lol I'm enjoying them a lot! I'm on the last one that's out right now. They are their own separate romances too but in the same world/universe however you want to call it.

- Give it a try before you remove it from your wishlist. You never know, you may just love it. ;) I'm on the second book of the Crave series. So far, it's not bad. A little predictable and Hogwarts-ish but it's still keeping my interest. :) I love supernatural stories. They really are so much fun! :D

I'm 3/4 way through the 2nd book in the series. It's an interesting world she's creating but I wish the main character wasn't so... I guess wishy-washy is the best way I can describe it. I wish she were more sure of herself but at that age I know that being sure of yourself isn't something many people have a grip on. ;) :D

I just heard about a new frickin storm - Oscar. 🤬 The haircut was a fiasco that turned out well. We got there about 20 minutes early and then the hairdresser was running late so we (Liz and I) waited about an hour and and 10 minutes and finally they asked me if I wanted to go with someone else so I did. I didn't know the other one so it really didn't matter and the lady I got was so sweet and did a great job, plus was a lot cheaper!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 She was humming to the music and it was really cute and relaxing. 😊

You definitely see the character grow throughout the series, which is really nice. She seems like such a child in the first couple of books (which she is I guess LOL). I finished the series I was reading and now I'm on to a different one 😂 It's called The Coven by Harper L. Woods. I'm reading a lot of witch-y type fantasies right now for Halloween lol

- I think one of the tings that irritates me a little bit about the series (I'm at the end of book 2) is that she seems to just accept things, she doesn't question anything until it's too late or someone decides to educate her on the subject. If it were me and I found myself in the middle of a high school full of paranormals you wouldn't be able to pry me out of the library until I learned everything I could. She also didn't really question the nature of her "matin bond" and just accepted that it existed. So, when it was removed it didn't mean much to me as a reader. There was no meotional connection to something that I'm assuming would be very traumatic. And yeah, 17 is still a child. ;) Oh! That sounds interesting. What's it about so far? :D

Whew! Glad it's only a cat 1! For us to hear about it here it generally means it's a bad one. It worked out well even though an hour wait should not be acceptable. Especially for a snooty high end salon. Lol

OMG my memory is so bad and I like to think it's because of all the pin codes and passwords I have to remember. Not because old age. 🤣
