Oh! I love having a new herbal tea in my arsenal! I might find some since viruses keep roving around where I am and I'm tired of being sick 😫
Theres a tea from Adagio Teas that I like called double ginger. Really good for punching a cold out of you lol! Good and strong and spicy and sweet with ginger and peppercorn and fruit. Clear out your sinuses and the ginger feels soothing to a really sore throat imo, kinda numbs it. I find it tastes really really good when mixing in some Yuja tea (basically just yuzu marmalade lol).

To really kick your immune system into high gear add a quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder to a cup of that double ginger tea. I don’t know what I enjoy more, gathering the herbs and creating the teas, or sitting back and drinking them.
I can't believe I didn't think about adding some tumeric since it does have black and red peppercorns in it. I might just do that next time I make it.

Either INSANELY sweet thai tea with boba, or ...hm. Sweet, milky, teas.
I super like my tea! Cheap and flavored as raspberry made by "Розумний Вибір". Not an ad tho. I just like this specific kind of tea.
I am from the south and I HATE sweet tea. I can't stand all of the sugar. Soooo,
I use Celestial tea, one bag Green tea with Macha, one bag Lemon Zinger. I use a standard ceramic coffee cup, and I have this nifty electric kettle I got at wal-mart. Literally boils water in seconds, I pour and let the two teas steep for about 5-10 minutes. No sugar, no additives. I drink it straight xD
I have actually recently given up an energy drink addiction (10 a day) and have found that my tea gives me more pep in my step than the energy drinks did. I also feel a lot better.

Man... 5 to 10 minutes steeped in boiling water? is it bitter? usually such a steep time with that temp with green tea would make the flavor dry and or bitter since usually green tea is steeped below boiling for maybe 2 to 3 minutes. I'm particularly sensitive to bitter flavors though with the dumb taste gene so that definitely affects my experience with tea hence my nerd level knowledge.

So, I actually love the bitter after taste in certain things. I find that sweet drinks actually super dehydrate me and lead to uti and things of that nature. I apparently have a sensitive balance and can seriously hurt myself with too much sugar. Being Hypoglycemic doesn't help matters.
You would think a lot of sugar for a Hypoglycemic would be a good thing, its actually the opposite. Yeah sure, it will spike things up and get us to level for a moment, but there is a crash that happens and it is awful.
I don't notice the bitterness of the green tea, but I also grew up drinking green tea, I can drink it hot or cold. I actually prefer cold, which isn't traditional xD I just love the stuff, plus if you use enough lemon tea, you can't tell the difference. If anything, it kind of accentuates the lemon so it has a little tart kick after each sip.

I'm def a tea aficionado I have been for most of my life, but more so the older I get. I have a whole rack that fits on a door filled with different teas. I'm lucky to live with two others that also love tea as well. I go in phases sometimes I want a good matcha green tea, sometimes I want a nice toasty Hojicha green tea. Lately my goto has been a chai latte, but before that I was obsessing over Irish breakfast tea. Its so good with a little bit of milk and sugar in it, or oat milk as well. I try not to drink too much dairy these days.
Anyone else love Thai iced teas as well or even the other popular milk teas?
I have a couple of tea favorites. My favorite is Celebration tea by Harney and Sons. It's a black tea with apricot notes. I drink it hot with no sweetener. Another favorite is their Paris tea: black and oolong with black currant, vanilla and bergamot.
I also like the Teekanne brand from Germany Winterzeit (Winter Time). It's excellent in winter with notes of apple, cinnamon, clove, and orange peel. They have several other winter flavors that are also excellent.
I usually like fruit teas best because I can drink them without any sweetener and they still taste good and not bitter.
My favorite boba tea is the Wintermelon Black Milk tea. I drink it with coffee jelly and little sugar.
When pigs fly, I want to ride one.
lots of sugar and cream
