I just get plain matcha not any kind of latte mix so its only matcha. I'm not a fan of just how much powdered sugar they add to these latte matcha mixes. Id rather have the choice to add or not to add or use a sugar free option when I feel like it.

I love this idea! I’m a big tea fan too, and your iced lavender London fog “latte” sounds absolutely delicious—I’ll have to try that out. I’m with you on matcha; it’s so good but definitely a bit of a splurge. Tea is just such a comforting alternative to coffee, especially when you want something gentler on the stomach.
One of my favorite teas from Vietnam is Artichoke Tea. It’s a bit different from your typical tea, but it’s really soothing and has a mild, naturally sweet flavor.
How to Make Vietnamese Artichoke Tea (Trà Atiso):
• Start with dried artichoke leaves, stems, or a ready-made tea bag.
• Boil water and pour it over the tea, letting it steep for about 5-10 minutes.
• You can enjoy it hot or let it cool and serve it over ice.
• It’s naturally sweet, but you can add a little honey if you like it sweeter.
It’s super refreshing and also believed to have health benefits, like supporting digestion. I usually drink it plain, but it’s also nice with a squeeze of lemon. If you ever get the chance, give it a try—it’s a lovely way to enjoy a taste of Vietnam!
Unsweetened, iced, black tea.... I'll also accept lemon or raspberry in it, but prefer unsweetened plain ol' black iced tea. Gross, I know. Lol
Not even! Tea is the only thing I can really drink un-sweetened myself. I've tried and failed to drink black coffee so many times 😭 Trying to cut out calories is easier with tea for me.

Nice to see all of you are tea lovers! :D
I like a lot tea!
Green tea with no sugar is for any time time and help me to feel peaceful. I also love green tea mixed with lemon and a spoon of honey. I never put any milk, except if I go for a matcha late, and I also use matcha in cookies and cheese cake.
Black tea is nice with some touch of fruit (peach or mango) and could be use to do flavoured ice cream. ^-^
I like my tea strong and hot, but I also love to drink my cold forgoten tea from the evening before.
My fovorit tea (after matcha) is a green tea flavored with violet flower I can buy at my grandparents' city (south of France)... it tastes like heaven <3
if i have peppermint tea i like to put a peppermint stick in it and than 2 tsp of sugar sometimes i just drink oolong tea with blackberry brandy in a hot toddy way.
I wasn't sure if this was a gossip thread (as in spill the tea) or actually about tea ...I had to find out.
I love this! ...I usually have one peppermint tea bag with one green tea bag and add honey to sweeten.
But lately I've been steeping all kinds of things. My favourite of all is just straight up ginger pieces ...as I get a lot of nausea ...then add honey for sweetness always 😋

Lol I was compelled when I saw a coffee related thread and felt a tea one was needed. Though I also like coffee I very much enjoy all kinds of tea.

Sorry for the late reply! >.<
That's a cool idea! What was the coffee thread like? Is it still going? I don't drink coffee myself although I've tried a few times ... it always makes my stomach sick. Strange how things affect us.
But teas I find healing and very helpful sometimes :)

I'm a sweet tea lover so always with either cubes with cream or with saffron rock candy depending on the kind of black tea. Rather fun watching the rocksugar dissolve away ahaha
[Kiss=poneigh]
I take mine unsweetened, without milk or cream, and almost always iced or chilled. I get this cherry green tea that is probably my favorite; I brew several cups at a time and store it in a glass pitcher in the fridge so I can have some anytime I want.
I need to get myself a new sealed glass jar for tea actually! My last one broke unfortunately. Barely tea is really nice to make in bulk to drink iced imo. One of my favorite not "real tea" teas but its like a really good really smooth coffee in a way without any sugar or caffeine. Not bitter at all just smooth and toasty and nutty.

I've actually really been wanting to try barley tea so hearing this has made me even more motivated to get some! People say it's extra refreshing in the summertime.
As much as I want to be lazy and buy it premade, you won't get any better than the real deal. Most asian stores like Hmart will have barley where they keep grains or even in the tea section. Just be sure you're grabbing roasted barley. Boil for around 5 to 15 minutes depending on the strength of flavor you want and then chill after or drink hot if you like. I preferentially try to find barley tea that's produced in korea since it tends to be a little better. They also have tea bags but I feel like loose whole barley in a bag gets you the most bang for your buck if you LOVE barley tea and wanna make a TON of it like me 😁
