Hi everyone! Just dancing away and not much time to chat lol!

and who i may forgot .

had a creative day but with lunch she cut in her hand with a knife while cutting a sandwich.. silly.. And it was bleeding badly, she went to the doc and they glued it. Hurts and can't use it ok and she is tired of her day, (she had help finishing her crafty project). So she is relaxing now and going to bed early. She is OK!

Are you okay now, that cut must have really burned.... ouchie!!! Take care, be careful cutting sandwiches next time....

I am ok, hand still hurts but the wound is closed (good glue). 1 more shift at work and i am doing easy stuff where i need my hands more i let others do.

Glad you are recovering. My mother was a nurse and when she retired from the hospital, she worked in a nursing home. Some of the patients had Dementia and they kept them, even tho they were sometimes violent. There was another locked ward for the very violent that had Alzheimer's. Mom got hurt a few times when one suddenly attacked her. They were supposed to work in pairs but they had too many patients and too few staff. She quit there when a patient nearly strangled her to death that she had reported for violent behavior several times. They knew that person and several others needed to be in the locked ward but would not transfer them as they had no more room. They would lose the money because they would have to transfer him and the others to a different facility. Guess they didn't care about their nurses!

- That is a horrible story but unfortunately that's the way the nursing homes are over here, too. They ignore issues because they want the patient's SSI. :(

Are you feeling any better? I know what stitches and gluing cuts are all about. I have had many stitches and 5 cut gluing's done.... Take care of yourself...

My grandpa just died an hour or two ago. It seems like my half-brother will drive me to the funeral (whenever that ends up being) as me and my husband are having bad car troubles. It's a danger to drive anywhere close. Never mind somewhere hours away.

If we could have driven down to Mom's, we would have been there for a week now.
