Emerge met my wrath. They refused to give me medication,so my mom is going to get mine and show them the bottles. I said I don't lie about the stuff I take, and I have insomnia and if indont take them, I don't sleep. Same with my antidepressants. I get grouchy.

If they would've told me earlier that I need a list of medication, I could've called my pharmacy. The nurse said "you can't get me to call when it's closed" and I said "I'll take care of it myself. I always do"

I'm also so hungry, but can't eat. No one has brought me in for surgery or tests of any kind

I am so sorry what ur going thru hopefully they will do something soon when I had my surgery I was in so much pain I had my thick coat pushing in my side feeling like it would burst then took 3 mins to put me in a wheel chair n went for emergency surgery my son went thru gallstones surgery too I went back in cuz I didn't know I was alergic to the meds n my son went in the second time cuz they missed some stones they could have contacted ur Dr to find out ur meds they r too lazy to I'm sorry ur going thru this I hope it all gets taking care of soon n hope u get feeling better

They may just do your surgery first thing in the morning, unless they said different. Geez you would think they would want you comfortable. HUGS

I have to agree with dimdim and all others too. Don't be afraid, everything will be fine ❤ I also had a gallbladder operation and was back home after a short time. Minimally invasive surgery was performed. All the best and we are all here when you feel alone :hugs:

My phone is connected to the wall being charged now. My mom.and dad went back and forth to get me some things. I also had a huge allergic reaction to the hospital gown, so they told me to take it off and put my clothes back on. I was beat rdd, itchy AF and it was hot. Since being back in my clothes, I haven't had an issue. I was given benadryl

- Must be the harsh detergent used when the gowns are laundered. Wish I was there I'd bring you something comfy that was washed in the allergy free detergent. I might even embroider a flower on it to make you feel better. And I'd bring cookies ❤

Speaking of cookies...does anyone know if there is an end to the levels of baking with Fantine? I got through level 20 thinking that was it...but doesn't seem to be. Is Fantine's baking a test to see if you are insane enough to do all that baking? If so I passed. Or failed...depending on how you look at it...

Update

I had a surgical procedure to remove stones in my duct and biliary tracts. The surgeon said the stones are small, but they made up for it in numbers because he removed more than 50! He also put in a stint to dilate the tract so that stones that are stuck on my liver (gall stones migrated to my liver and attached themselves to it), can exist. This procedure has to be repeated in 3 months to flush out the rest.

They were going to do gallbladder surgery today, but one of the side affects of that scope was a possibility of an inflamed pancreas and mine is inflamed. They'll be doing the surgery tomorrow morning.

I'm so dehydrated, and they had a hard time starting an IV. The one I had needed to be taken out as rthr fluid was going under my skin and the second one they put in, I lost during the surgery.

I've been poked and prodded 5 times for an IV and the fifth time they got it. I'm also loopy and exhausted

Because I haven't eaten in two days because they're prepping for surgery, I was able to have clear fluids tonight. I threw up once because my body isn't used to having food and I was in a little bit of pain.

I also don't like being a Pincushion! I cried and cried everytime they poked me for an IV.

Well the IVs are keeping you hydrated, medicines. So just look at like they are necessary to feeling better. I am so glad you are able to keep us updated, and visit with us.

I live you guys. I know I've been quiet in the thread lately, but I have a lot of stuff going on IRL.

Don't know when my surgery time is tomorrow or when I can go home, but I'm tired of being hungry and having yellow skin ha. Even the whites of my eyes are yellow.

I'm exhausted. I sleep when I can.

No worries RL first and take care of your self. Your body will start healing once they have completed the surgery, and you will see changes in your skin color.

- The whole ordeal would be exhausting...but jaundice can also cause fatigue so it's no wonder you are tuckered out. A friend used to tell me "sleep knits up the raveled sleeve of care"...get whatever rest you can.
