I am taking it easy but at the same time I have to build my leg strength back up I have a very long ranch style home so I don't have any stairs so I'm good with that

Well walking is good, but you start to feel exhausted you need to park your fanny.
I do I walk to the other end of the house to use the bathroom plus that's where the shower is the kitchen is just in the next room so I do walk a lot but not that far each time

One more day before mine can order a valve cover gasket online, and mine need to further search for a misplaced (but different) 3/8 in breaker bar. Mine big toolbox is mostly repaired for the drop damage from a past day.
Lunch is served, baked ham with vegetables, corn muffins and a few spare sides. A good meal considering its the end of the month.
Much to do still, an the day is better than yesterday's stormy heather. Off mine go...
Good breaking it up in segments, you will get there.
make sure u get the exact one u need and make sure to torque the bolts in the correct order and to exact torque amount

Oh, mine gknow, the sequence is more or less a clockwise spiral, torque is single digit. Tho mine haven't a 1/4 torque wrench, the recommendation is a snug fit to avoid warping the cover.
Mine will insist on OEM, which still costs less than retail options. In some cases that's the only option. i.e. the camshafts.
Mine dug around al over mine tool room, car, and whichever places mine worked. No sign of the bar, mine should text JAG an ask if mine left tit here...
well it is very important to get the torque right for a valve cover it should be in the inch lbs around 15 to 20 inch pounds

True, it roughly translates to 7-8 ft. lbs. But mine also gknow it should be equal on al, maybe getting the right wrench may be in mine best interest. Mine 3/8 can barely go that low.
For now it has to wait. Even if mine buy the gasket in the nest 24 hours, the delivery would be nest week at best.
Congrats to all of the Bears for their finds and achievements!!
Thanks ! I may be done trying for them until next year. hahahahaha I don't like spending money. :-D
