It is all wonderful news. Cairo will only benefit from having you home nonstop for 3 whole weeks, and you will be able to enjoy her and recuperate from your surgery. Best wishes and prayers go out to you Jess, and Cairo as well.

Hi everyone - not really an official CW update, but I just wanted to let you all know my surgery went well and I am home, resting and recovering. I'm hopeful I might actually be able to come back to Subeta work earlier than realized, but until then you are in 's capable hands! Thanks for all the well wishes.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I should be able to return to work this week after all. However I'm not going to put up a schedule for this week or next week; it's honestly going to just sort of how I feel day to day. Probably next week I'll get up a schedule for the weeks following that :) Thanks for all your patience while I recover! Surgery talk under the spoiler for those that wish to avoid it.

Just in case anyone is curious, I had a hysterectomy. It wasn't due to cancer or anything like that! But I've wanted one for quite a long time (after literal decades of misery from this very unused organ in my body). It feels great to be uterus-free, even though I'm still recovering and will be for several weeks. It was able to be done minimally-invasive as out-patient surgery, and overall I'm feeling pretty damn good.
Am amazed that you had this surgery as an out patient and are feeling pretty damn good. Congrats, just take it slow and get back to things as you feel better.

I'll admit, I was a little alarmed about you going under the knife, not knowing what has caused it. But I am glad you were able to do something for yourself that you, quite obviously, desperately needed. No doubt it feels as though a weight has been lifted from you. (See what I did there? Eh?) May your recovery be swift, and may you never forget the tremendous support you have here at Subeta. Best wishes. :)

Hello everyone! Just wanted to let you know I've gone ahead and updated the schedule for next week, and I'll be back to posting the weekly schedules in the second post on this thread.
I will add in, it's my first week back at work and I have NO idea how draining it's going to be yet, so I'll be doing my best to keep up with everything! ❤️ Thanks for all the kindness and support during my recovery.
