I went on a cruise with my sister to celebrate my 40th birthday.
I take that back. It was my 8yo starting to really be able to read.

Definitely my twins starting school. Very emotional moment, in a positive way though. I wasn't melancholic because they grow up so fast but rather proud.

This was a very stressful year. I'm literally used to all my years being stressful and harsh, but this year and the second half of 2022 were a different new level. Can't say I have any highlights, though maybe... the highlight is that I've still kept going? That despite everything, I still haven't lost hope that the future has great things in store for me, and that I also have the desire inside to get out of my shell so the person I've always dreamed of becoming will be a reality? (I've already started working on this...)
I'd say how much I matured in my head during this year and the past one should definitely be a highlight as well. Inside my mind is still a total mess, and outside I'm still the same kid with an adult age who can't depend on herself in almost anything and is a huge burden, but I believe I understand myself way better than before, and I don't think my head (and myself in general) is quite in the darkness as I was in, say, my teenage years. I've realised a lot of things in the past year and half.
There were a lot of issues with our house as its old... finally all fixed and replaced. No more issues!
I think the highlight was moving back to CO! Big undertaking at the time but glad we did it
Traveling to Seoul, Korea, for the first time ^^
The highlight of my year was getting to travel a little more.
I got up the courage to do a holiday by plane by myself and it was so good.
My entry:
The highlight of my year was when my youngest son graduated high school with honors. I cried, I was (and still am) so proud of him.❤
Losing 60 lbs and starting to learn that it is okay to do things that take care of me. It's still a process and I am surprised daily how far I have come this past year.
“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.” - Benjamin Franklin
"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
It's nice to read everyone's highlights!
I had a really great year with a lot of work accomplishments. But the biggest one has to be the one I have worked on for two decades, which is reaching a normal and healthy weight.

Listening to Michael read a full sentence at speech one day! I videoed it and I was able to send it to Eric and my parents. I cried happy tears :)
The highlight for me this year was getting married! :)
The highlight of my year was a dog that I worked with for a very long time at the animal shelter finally went into a foster home. <3 She’s a little bit of a harder to place dog and has been waiting a long time to get out of the shelter. I’m so happy for her.

Going to see my best friends baby sister get married! It's been years since I was able to see her entire family and her sister and new husband happened tog et married where my parents held their reception nearly 40 years ago! It was wonderful and I'm so happy for all of them..
