Dear SANTA,
I haven't written to you in years and for that I am sorry. I need to ask you for a favour this year. I need to take a break! Rest and relaxation is what I need. Some time to recharge my batteries.....unless maybe you have a spare set of batteries laying around someplace? How about a "do not disturb" sign? If you don't have either of those, I'll take a nice cup of hot cocoa, a warm snuggly blanket, some festive lights, and snow, lots of snow. Oh and can you install a bay window for me to sit and watch the snow all cuddled up in my blanket with my warm drink? That would be perfect!
You know what?? Scratch that! I wouldn't change a thing. I have my kids that make me laugh and give me hugs... What more can I ask for?
I'll still put some egg nog and cookies for you and carrots for your reindeer for when you need a break.

I would like to see all of my children for the holiday. And, I mean ALL of them. I would like their excuses to melt away and be replaced with "I'll be home for the Solstice, Mom Plus, I'm going to wish for the same thing I've wished for these past 8.5 years, I'd like my eyesight back.
