I wish I could spend NYE with my parents (I only go to my parents for my mom), but there's no way my dad will pick me up two days in a row (i have to pull teeth to ask him to pick me up once a week) and even if I could go, my slumlord is coming over to fix my shower handle and window. Not sure if that was in response to the letter I sent via email.

It would also be nice if I got rent back because it's a smokers fest in here. So tired of the SHS. I'm tired of it affecting me and my lungs

On that cellphone app? My mom is using my brothers phone and he passed away 5 years ago (I have one brother left) and she can't download apps because she doesn't know the password. No one knows it. I could watch the ball drop, but I'd have to do while watching online becUse I don't have TV.

I've never been a person for TV. I barely watched it as a child and it remains the same. When I tell people I don't like TV, they think something is wrong with me. I don't find things on it, interesting (other than history, aninal channel, nature etc). I watch movies, but I do it from Netflix.

The only thing I can do, is call Apple to see if they can reset it, but she's very attached to the phone (understandably). It was my brothers and she took it when he passed and has been using it ever since. None of us know how the phone is still able to function. It's an Iphone 5s
