She's ok! She's allergic to the antibiotic she was taking and has chemical burns in her nose, mouth, tongue, and throat. Now she had to have a vitamin A shot, anti-inflammatories, and a culture was taken to see if she does have a RI. It was a very expensive day. I was only given pain meds, so I'll call tomorrow and ask if the other medication was missed, or if it was injected
The vet felt she doesn't need to be put to sleep. She's spunky and very alert.
Its scary when our pets dont feel good. Thankfully easy fix for you. I dread going to the vet, it can be so expensive.
An x-ray for a Gecko is $210 plus tax (I asked if I needed one, they said no. If I did, I'd have to apply for a third party payment plan). I spent $400 at the vet. Just on her exam, vitamins, meds. But I love her. I also have to upgrade her enclosure in the future. I'm hoping I can do it in the spring or summer
- I sm so happy to hear everything is ok. I know it can get expensive but our pets are family so we do whatever it takes!!
- Hi 👋
Wow huge hugs for everyone here today.Kidney stones are not fun, even when otherwise healthy.Hope you get to feeling better fast.Sorry for your loss.
I spent that much just putting my dog down, and burial fees. But my dogs are like family to me.
You found 1 Crypts Treasure Point in the pool!
I read the comments on the vet report (my geckos have two vets and I choose whoever is available that fits with my schedule). She was unable to hear her heart, so it's possible she might have a heart disease and no anti-inflammatories were given. If she gets worse, they'll do the injectable anti-inflammatory. I'm still going to call and ask why as I'd prefer she has it. The culture results will take a week to come back.
glad to hear she is feeling better an you know the cause that always helps :D
Hope everyone is doin ok?

- glad you are okay...that sounds very scary. Could have been so much worse so glad you are alright...not so good for your vehicle but you are more important.
- I read your story and what an angel you were for that little one. I was thinking about it like said but she said it better than I could have. You were there and made those last moments warm and safe for the little one.
- congrats on the potion win :)
Zo, the root cause was... a disconnected fuel injector cable trunking. Mine believe a cat got in the engine compartment to keep warm, an tripped on the tangled mess. The beauty of the whole thing was mine didn't make as thorough visual inspection of the engine as mine should have.
Tho reconnecting was easy, there is another problem. Another connector needs to be replaced, because it's wires were torn off. That isn't difficult, but mine will have to wait two days to buy a replacement.
Hello how are you? Nice to see you. Thanks for the mega ticket. :)
Hi I am doing good, I am at my younger son's home taking of his dogs,
I just came home from 10 hr day renovating a friends bathroom. The dog sitting sounds like more fun LOL :)
