Funny how we remember what the weather was when we've done things with our kids. Whenever I used to take Liz trick or treating it was always really cold but I remember one year it was almost hot. So weird! Extra beautiful HA!! As always! 🥰

Yeah, Halloween hasn't been too cold these days. I remember when I was a kid it was chilly. Global warming at it's finest >_<

i'm on a lil vacation right now and haven't checked the weather where i actually live in a few days, but my partner just informed me we're expecting our first dump of snow the day we come home (wednesday)!! D: i don't think we'll be lucky enough to have a mild halloween with our little one this year

I think I'll try to find a jar or something to put it in at the dollar store ^^ Apeps unhappy since we took out his favorite branch because it got moldy due to an accidental over watering and now I gotta spend like 30 bucks for another reptile safe branch for him lol

thankfully the forecast has changed, no snow - yet! lol the city i live in has seen snow on every day of the year (not like, consecutively, spread out over the course of several decades lol) just a couple years ago we got a huge dump in early september that killed a bunch of trees and damaged a ton of property 'cause they were snapping and falling over all over town. life in canada, i tell ya.

I was going to suggest global warming. :-) OMG the gnats are back in force!! screams Last night I smacked so many on the bathroom mirror. Ugh! I made an apple cider vinegar trap and it looks like there's quite a few in there already. And today I wiped down the mirror and counter with windex and hopefully that will repel them. And here I thought pouring hot water down the drains was working. Yuck!!!

I know women's hockey is your fav. :-) We didn't have a pro football team here when I was a kid so we never watched it growing up. And it still doesn't make a lot of sense to me. They stand around for 10 minutes, run towards a line for 10 steps and all crash into each other and then stand around some more and repeat, and it all takes 3 hours. LOL! :-P

hahaha Canadian weather is insane. awe oh my goodness! i don't love the cold, and i'm not one for winter sports really, but i would be quite sad to go a winter without snow!

hahaha it would be so nice to be stuck at home a few days - however, we get so much snow, so often, that it's really rare we actually get snowed in or have 'snow days' like some other parts of the world get! we're overly prepared so nothing gets shut down unless we're talkin' like several feet of wet snow blocking doors/roads or power outages - and even still, we usually have our shit up and running again pretty quickly LOL

we're having lots of fun right now in the much more mild autumn weather! heading home in the morning - into a very gloomy rainy city D:

That's funny to me. I grew up near Pittsburgh so football is like, KING. But you're right, it's very start and stop. Starting to watch soccer, then hockey, was admittedly an adjustment. Baseball's even got more breaks what with innings and moving folks on and off the field.

Yes you probably had no choice about watching football! LOL! If women's hockey gets going again I should give it a peek. I grew up with hockey too and have gone to many games. I think our team back then was the Totems? And Liz and I have gone to quite a few minor league (The Thunderbirds) hockey games as they play in a small venue near our home.
