I haven't been here as much lately but I have at least made three Subeta 19th birthday HAs:

Al is afraid of dogs, he loves animals but he doesn't like dogs very much thats the only exception. But even if I got an animal he wasn't a fan of, he still is supportive. He told me he loves how much I love animals and that I want to live in a metaphorical zoo we could ^^ We feed the snake baby mice right now, frozen but thawed out before we give it to him. He's so small that he can't eat much bigger. Eventually he'll eat full mice, possibly small rats but I'm hoping we can keep him on a frozen diet since it's just easier and less dangerous for him. We use tongs because a strike from him would hurt even though he's a small guy

That's funny that's how they chew food up. On the news I keep seeing this alligator they captured that's missing it's top jaw. I guess they will feed it foods that don't need to be chewed so it won't die. It's so strange looking!

I knew there was something Al didn't like critterwise. Lots of people aren't fans of dogs but I always think they've had a bad experience with them as most of them are really such great pets. And even the bad ones are only bad due to their human not socializing them enough. That's so interesting what and how you're feeding your snake! I hope you don't have to live feed but it's something that may be necessary at some point.

OMG today, after I put a bunch of peanuts out, a rat was chasing a squirrel with a huge blue jay sitting above them on the kennel, watching them. 😂 I recorded part of it but haven't looked yet to see if it shows up. It cracks me up too see 3 different kinds of animals fighting over the peanuts. :-D
