I was sleepless for the first 5 years of each of my kids lives. I was a zombie that lived on caffeine and Mountain Dew. I feel your pain but think you've got another couple of years of rambunctiousness from them before you'll get some peace. :) Oh, my sweet night shift. It wasn't like your's emory. If we had sun-downers it was only for a few days and we had specific people called "sitters" to manage them while they were in the hospital. I find there is a distinct difference between hospital and nursing home night shifts. (Not always though as I've had some hellacious night shifts. XD ) Waves at and and all the other lurkers out there. :D

hmm maybe because your turned in on late they could not put the icon on you anymore... Oh well next year you will have it

lol i hope so they will calm down lol! Well in the nursing home we have people who go to bed early or on time and they also call halfway during the night for stuff or they can't sleep amymore. And then we have the people who need to go to the bathroom at all hours of the night. And some just call to hear my voice and see me...

My weekend is meh. Been in a kinda down mood since Friday. Not sure why. So trying to work through that.

- I can understand all those issues since I spent 10 months in a nursing home after my stroke. As I was relearning to do stuff on my own I needed a lot of help. I'm sure it's like that for your residents except they're not relearning. That's just the way they are right now. I imagine they're very lonely. And you're a happy face that reassures them. :D

- I know they do. I would do it when I was missing my hubby and kids and it was the middle of the night. I had some good conversations with the nurses and aides then. It really helped me get through my issues at the time. Ah, V-Day... We're having an Anti-Valentines Day dinner tonight. Hubby did get me a big box of (sugar-free) chocolates. I love squeezing them to see what's inside. lolol I'd send you some if I could. :D

it's always nice to chat to someone in the middle of the night. I don't mind to... otherwisw for me it's so boring all alone.

- well, our Anti-Valentines Day dinner was horrid. We ordered from a highly rated Chinese place and it turned out to be ...well, kind of gross. I ordered twice cooked beef and got candied beef. I swear they soaked the beef in sugar syrup instead of cooking it twice to make it crunchy. Oh, well. Better luck next time. roflmao :D

My brother and I went out to hit up some special PoGo raids. Managed to catch 4 of the special valentine day themed legendary they released. :D But um, I think it's kinda ugly.

Edit: I just noticed everyone is starting to dress up for the upcoming holiday. Meanwhile I'm spending 19m on a cuttlefish...

eeeiiuuww that sounds horrible. YUK! I hope the rest of the night was better.

I worked, half day. No cards, flowers, etc here but i don't mind. I cuddled the cats instead lol

i am also not dressed yet for the event.. I am always late when dressing up to. I like my HA at the moment
